When you pay the majority of your players a substantial amount of money, they will perform like AFL players perform as it is a sizeable life style change if they don't. Carlton are involved in a organisation that polices salary caps, you can't get passed that at AFL level. As mentioned a trillion times on here, when you have 2 x prominent $ubi people at the WAFC, its pretty clear that you are getting away with murder.

Getting this topic back on track who actually can envisage their WAFL club winning a Premiership in their expected lifetime?
I for one have almost resigned myself to never seeing another flag at Basso in this current contrived WAFL and we have only won 1 (by a solitary point I might add) in the last 28 years!
What do other posters from the real WAFL clubs think of their flag chances into the future?

Whilst Subi's success is boring and contributing to the demise of the comp....folk seem to forget when WCE entered the scene and then Freo....the WAFL down hill spiral was in full flow.....some 23 years ago.....too easy to point the finger at Subi..

..my club EFFC have contributed to the WAFL demise and their own failures by some poor off field decision making....choices of coaches..recruiting players.....lack of foresight marketing wise.....ground wise....staying a head of the game.....ditto Perth too...... but great to see them turning things around.....every club has a played a part in where the WAFL is now.......winners are grinners come end of the day.....and there are two sides to every head in the sand story......just look at EF current predicament.....WP now, AS previously etc etc....every club is responsible and has played a part in the WAFL struggling....failure to admit that is burying ones head in the sand I reckon

I don't read the shit, I know we have been fucked for years along with the other G6 WAFL clubs. If you call the WAFC they will tell where the money has gone. Taylor was on the radio the other day and said that WP had been transparent and the in and out goings are all accounted for. Now going by the WAFC's non issue with $ubi's books you would have to say that it is 100% accurate wouldn't you agree ???
