Exactly! That's why I've given up going to EF this year. Went to the scratchies and the first game against Claremont, then left and said i'm not wasting my life watching that crap again! So far has been totally justified.

I will only go again when I believe we at least stand a chance of winning! Call me a fair-weather supporter, I don't care.

I don't expect to win, but I want to know we're a chance, I don't believe we are at the moment. I have had enough watching crap year after year. (as I have stated before, I have no idea how Perth supporters deal with it)

Its disappointing too, as last year I moved house and got to know the new neighbours in the street, and at times last year I had taken some of them to the WAFL. As much as 12 new people to the WAFL in one game (including about 8 7 kids kids). They enjoyed it, but would probably never go on their own accord, and one of them asked me about going again this year, but I said I wasn't interested.

Why would I!!

Can understand where you are coming from mate, its a real pity for footy that the administration of EFFC decided some time ago that winning premierships was no longer a priority and AFL Player development was( for financial reasons ), the result is the longest premiership drought in history for your club, tbh, I don't think EFFC will ever win a league flag again before more drastic changes happen and clubs and mine probably merge to survive.

this is a real pity as a competitive effc and sffc are vital to wafl, I don't think we will ever see a derby gf again.

And where exactly have East Fremantle stated that winning flags isn't the most important goal? If that were the case then they should be wound up, surely you can shoot for both. That seems obsurd

The Alignment has been an absolute disaster for WAFL interest and attendance and this was cemented by last years GF win by Peel stacked with Freo players, the scarey thing is the WAFC WAFL Rep Ric Gloede lauded it as a success story, what a croc.

The public now treat the comp as a farce.

That gives you some idea what we are up against.

More complete and utter made up hogwash from you know who mate...ffs Freeze and co have been crying out for EF to start introducing some youngsters in to the League side both Malaxos & Wiley...and their draft numbers have been reasonable low of late as well!

The biggest problem at EF, albeit looking from a long distance away, is in fighting.

think EF are shooting for the colts flag this year.....as others have posted on the EF thread, folk who go and watch EF play most weeks....the lack of consistency in Wiley's selections seem to be concerning.....guys getting call ups over others even though their reserves form has been dodgy to say the list.....some mid tier guys will run mid season I reckon....and EF can't afford to lose that depth.....and the fans will drop off just as fast.....though I think that horse has bolted any way

Very well said Sir.
If old Gloede is stating that, one needs to be questioning why he is in that position? There are still too many answers that need to be sought! One needs to wonder why they are not forthcoming?
