so since 2007 Swans have the biggest crowd average on a Saturday.

And the second lowest on a Sunday, only Peel saved you there.

yes, based on a massive 11 game sample..

amazing that 5 clubs draw bigger crowds than South on Saturdays..

yeah absolutely amazing - just like SD mediocre overall attendance figure middle of the road to say the least...truly amazing.

yes, not mediocre crowds tho on Saturdays when it seems most of the games are played.
i can see why South are so keen to play on any day bar Saturdays, nobody turns up.

If you look we play far fewer games than anyone else on a Saturday, those days are reserved for the more minor clubs, we get the best days because unlike your mob we are "special" and have a certain status in WAFL tradition..like EF & WP. ;)

yes, maybe you could request the GF this year to be played on a Monday as you will get a bigger crowd.

Also SD v WP on ANZAC day would have pulled more than the dying Freo derby tradition imo due to ladder positions alone and SD/WP having more active WAFL fans currently SD V Perth could due to Pertth having the most loyal gathering even after 40 years of torment.
Just look at this website which is held aloft by the activity on Perths and Swans thread. Otherwise it is as quiet as Claremonts bearded burbler at the moment since he lost his voice :P (Those who actually attend games will know who I'm talking about)

I did see the Bearded Burbler and his young bloke in tow at Basso mate but yeah your right I didn't hear him this time around...I actually missed hearing him bellow out "Go Tigers...get that goal back with compound interest" 15 times on Saturday!

Good on him though in all seriousness, he is obviously a loyal WAFL fan like us
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Is that the bloke with the Tiger gear (hat?)? If so I saw him sitting on the hill at the Bassendean end.

We did pull 5000 in 2011 I think it was - The Luke Adams game

Having said that, a fair few colts would have parents of that extraction.

It worked for Central Districts, of course, as the book "Poms To Premiers" explains.

West Perth have to find a similar way and market their club accordingly.

WP havent had their free attendance International game which boosts their numbers up considerably.

Hopefully we can just be competitive against the all conquering Lions LH.
