Have been on the understanding that redevelopment works would begin at the end of the 2016 WAFL season with community consultation to occur beforehand. Although the Perth footy club is anticipating for home games to remain at Lathlain Park throughout the duration of the construction processes over the next few seasons.

Gosnells Oval and John Dunn Oval Kelmscott would be good alternatives if Lathlain Park runs into similar problems & issues as Claremont Oval has in the last 3 years of its redevelopment and or even the WACA could come out of football retirement.

Gosnells is the best ground outside the WAFL on and off it,steeped in history plus have hosted a few WAFL games

Yep the turnout by the swans losers was an absolute joke. Zero people around the swans bench, or on the fence ...bar that overweight bloke with the mullet with the clipboard.

Only crew around the club was sffc people , zero sdfc crew, 1700 , about 1500, sffc and 200 sdfc...

btw how is that Wooden Spoon prediction I made several months ago re sdfc ...that you stated would not occur going.... lol??

Not that your above comments have anything at all to do with the topic, perhaps Southerner would like to give his estimation of the breakdown between the Swans' and Souths' supporters at Freo Oval last week. I also note that you didn't mention the huddles around the players at the quarter time breaks. Maybe Southerner could give his estimation of which team had the bigger quarter-time huddles.

As for your digs about the wooden spoon. I started supporting Swans in the 60s. So trying to stir me personally about another wooden spoon is just not going to work.

Coles Woolstores had Wooden Spoons on special Saturday, maybe they were all down there.

According to the report, apparently no night time Grand Final for this season. But the current telecaster is still pushing for the idea to happen next season.
Not sure why it cannot simply be held on the Sunday or possibly moved to the first week of October?
