And another worrying observation :( . The attendance figures for last weekend of 5692 is the second lowest figure for week 7 fixtures in over 10 years!

Hopefully things improve soon, Swans will string a few wins together and their army of supporters will return covered in splinters.

maybe you dont have a huge following after all and your numbers are boosted by free ticket give away days ?

could be worth a facebook post I reckon.

Swans supporters seem to be doing a lot of finger pointing but not offering any solutions. I understand you look for any opportunity to have a dig at a club you are envious of but its not solving the problem. Rather than criticizing West Perths free ticket game how about embracing it, that day exposed many new people to WAFL footy and whether they paid or not that's a few thousand extra people viewing both teams sponsors and hopefully resulted in a few new supporters. The same with Subiaco's Good Friday and Bark in the park promotions, at least the club is trying. Try being positive for a change.

The Pom day was a well promoted free ticket give away by WP and attracted 6000 it was an exception rather than the rule, the Good Friday game is another one a freakish day up against SFA.

You cannot really compare the two with the 1800 plus at the SF v S game while not massive , it is now apparent from the poor figures this year than anything over 1500 is going to considered a bumper crowd on a normal round. given it was the biggest crowd of the round , its probably about as good as it will get now that crowds are collapsing at a faster rate than predicted under the host club deal, we now appear to be getting sub 1000 crowds on a semi regular basis, as someone else pointed out as poorer weather sets in and about 2 or 3 clubs finals chances are over and interest evaporates 1800 plus will be a dream figure - this could get a whole lot worse.

How can anyone expect a decent crowd at the EP/EF game when it was on TV right before the Eagles were about to play? The same with the SD/S game: it was on TV, on a day when storms were predicted, and, in addition, SD were strugglling a wee bit.

Thanks to the WAFC!! The comp was on the rise again between 2009 and 2013 then they started F##king around with the alignment situation, or "partnership" as those clowns like to refer to it as. AFL followers of WA`s two teams haven't flocked to the WAFL like they reckoned and Ch7 haven't got any more bums on seats either. If they don't fark the alignments off all together then the comp then this comp with be dead in 5 years as we know it I reckon  :(

I've always believed it was all purely about shoving the two AFL weasels into the WANFL - and , duly , the alignments will end once the Cockburn & Lathlain works are completed

That Mandurah will become irrelevant & then subsequently deleted will become our only win

Spot on SD
Twenty 09. Twenty 10 and 11 were good attendance figures for the qualifying games.
But then took a nose dive for some reason. Only had just over a 180 and a half thou for the qualifying games last season. That's a figure hardly to become excited about. The way this season is currently going, the crowd figures will fall far short of that. Not unless we get a sudden surge of people start watching?

Exactly Southerner, that is also what I have believed the agenda has been and it becomes reality in about 2 or 3 years.

The nose dive is directly correlated with the success or lack of it of the two afl teams , once the shockers became a genuine premiership threat and the eagles improved the wafls fate was sealed, all the interest , public media or otherwise is sucked up.

Another declining crowd figure round, although the battle of the cellar dwellers easily topped the figures..oh for Perth and SD to both be up in the top 3 together some day, the WAFC must be praying
