Why on earth wouldnt we be playing at least 2 of the games (if not 3) on the Monday Anzac Day Holiday?
No competition from the Budgies & Dorks as they are playing Sat/Sun respectively and only 2 very ordinary conveyances in Coll & Ess as competition.
Yet another wasted opportunity from the WAFC!

Mike they leave you tearing your hair out at times and I dont have much left over from watching us this year it is like they do their best not to increase the profile of the comp
I saw the new CEO was at Basso yesterday I wonder if he needed google maps to find the place?!

BH why dont we turn the Wafl into a Night Series Summer Competition like the Soccer A League.
There is just to much Afl on tele,9 games a week.The Wafl just cant get any oxygen.

Not sure about that one mate it gets pretty hot in Perth in the Summer and footy is a winter sport for mine. But having said that we need to playing the majority of our matches on public holiday Mondays when available to maximise crowd numbers and competition exposure as Foundation Day has proved for years!

Thats the way to go, only way to get oxygen is to move the season. With our new venues developed, I see a new Freo Oval, new Claremont, updated Leederville all high quality ,intimate boutique grounds with good lighting and a Waca night GF the only future.

No thanks winter is for footy. Summer is for cricket. We are still playing footy in summer conditions now. Got to 32.6 at Lathlain on Sat.
Bloody ridiculous in the middle of April.

So there were 1283 at Basso on Sunday. Where were all the Subiaco supporters? What was their average attendance for 2016 prior to Sunday? The only logical explanation for the dearth of Subiaco supporters at Basso was that their average attendance for 2016 prior to last Sunday's game was that it had been inflated NOT by Subiaco supporters but by opposition supporters, neutrals and once a season attendees.
