That was the point of my last post gtr. 85/86 was in my humble opinion the beginning of a slowly growing rivalry.

There was some great games between them in that era.Remember 85 wet day,Subi where unlucky.In 86 the Sharks where red hot favorites but didnt fire on the day.Remember a fantastic fist fight in 1st qtr Bushell V Dargie..Then the next week Subi allmost beat Hawthorne in an Americas Cup tournament.

Nobody liked that little kent bushell, especially Dargs...

yes DG ...but Keeney sorted him out in the first couple of minutes of the '86 GF. Copped him with an elbow at a centre bouncedown from memory...pretty to watch.
