GTR while it was hard to watch '85 getting so close, EF were great in that they responded to a fantastic start by Subi and clawed their way to a solid lead then Subi came back at them in the last but fell 6 points short. That set up the following year when EF absolutely destroyed us (or thought they did) in the 2nd semi with that big FF kicking 10 or 11. I remember Percy Johnson who was a big EF man at the time commenting after the GF that the EF boys thought they had it won before the game and they played with a strange kind of arrogance where they totally went the man in the first half against a Bunton coached team that like him, just concentrated on the ball ...apart from the deserving square up on Bushell ... and it was 13 goals to 3 in the first half and the fat lady was singing.

What happened to the mighty swans army? Yet more proof of the urban myth.

Ahaha with all due respect to Ric, these polls are just online polls, that cant be taken seriously, as I stated earlier, SD are that far in front in selling club merchandise than any of the 9 clubs it isn't funny = fact. That is a more accurate and tangible synopsis on who is followed more heavily. Also West Perth we all know have many more fans than $ubi, probs 3 times more at a guess so the poll wouldn't be accurate, but good fun anyway

I don't think many of our supporters browse computers much, but they love a Saturday Arvo at the Footy, mainly at Home Games.

We usually always get the Faithfull 1000+ show up at Lathlain, yet for some reason, opposition supporters find it hard to get to Lathlain, despite being 10 minutes out of town on the train(12 if it stops at BelmontPark).

And South supporters are the worst offenders. There's bugger all of you guys at our Home Games.Apart from Wayne and his merry bunch of course. They are Loyal Doggies and I just love hearing him on late night radio, giving all the Day's score for South.

Swans,East Perth, then West Perth are usually the best visitors in terms of numbers.East Fremantle are a mixed bag,but more down than up,but the bulk of their support have often come from their PP & OA.Subi probably come next and Claremont,Peel fill the cellar below South for the least amount of Visiting supporters.

Do come along. The weather our way is generally ok,8 times out of 10 Home Games.Have a drink or 3 by all means, but please don't Shit stir in the Pig Pen.Thankfully, you only get the odd incident each year and I'm not sure last year's ratbags were even local.

Grassy don't worry Perth have many more fans than $ubi that I put my house on, in fact three times more even when at the foot of the ladder

Grassy, excuse my ignorance, but what does the PP and OA mean in regard to EF supporters that may attend Lathlain?

Also, I have to admit as an EF supporter I rarely travel out of my comfort zone of home games, but when I do it is usually Lathlain I don't mind going to, though I have to admit I get turned off with some of the language I hear coming from the pig pen, especially as I have my young son with me.

I do realize that this happens at all grounds though.

Probably right Mate

Not a real popular one with our crew. Latho has zero tradition rivalry wise for us I guess, Unlike EF, Basso and even WP, also for some reason its a bit arkward to get too..and if your like me and enjoy having a beer in a club bar - the pig pen is not the best mate.

just my thoughts.

Mate the fact that a few centerlink clients prefer to spend their dole on sdfc beanies and meth rather than food for the kids is not a reliable indicator.
