Thanks 58shark - just a bit of fun, I suppose it may just show which fans are the most connected in social media, and also which clubs are proactive in promoting the WAFL.

Think I'll run the poll until the end of the week.

Any ideas for the next one, or next quiz?

How about something along the lines of the greatest rivalries? Player v player or club v club? Some poor demented people call the WP v EP games a Derby :pinch: whereas, we know there's only one true Derby ;)

IMO the Perth derbies from the past 10-15 years have had more rivalry, fire and brimstone and a sheer nastiness that surpasses the Freo derbies, of late there seems to be a begrudging respect amongst Sth and East Fans but WP And EP fans actually hate each others clubs, more so with the alignment, just my observation

Good comment Swandog.Seen EP v WP a few times last year. There a pre Eagles 1986 hate between the Royals and Falcons. The alignment makes WP try just that bit harder in thoes games.

I agree GTR & SD, the EP & WP supporters are pretty feral when they play each other, more so than usual and the games have been better spectacles and edgier than the freo derbies of recent times.

Seagull East Perth are allways watching Subi train. Not that hard as you share the same ground.Heard an interview with an EP player on the radio last year, saying that Subi train a lot harder than EP with more intensity.
Whos Subi arch rival ,,Claremont??..Sub v Cmt,,,Ef v Sf,,Sd v Pth,,Wp v Ep,,Peel can suit them selves..Swans have had there moments over the years with both WP+EP.

Found out just this afternoon from one of the WAFL`s leading producers of club merchandise that Swan Districts in his words "sell more merchandise than any of the 9 clubs by a long long stretch" he went on to say that Subiaco sell the least...Most of us could have guessed this, but nice to hear it from the horses mouth of someone who is close to the action

And here come the excuses

We sell more premiership tshirts

I think the EF v Subi rivalry has grown a bit in the last few years. Time ago we touched them up, but now they're our bogie team. They just keep on beating us when sometimes they shouldn't

We would have sold more shirts from the 2010 flag than all of yours in the 2000`s combined mate, by a long long way!!! At least we wont have to hold our flag reunions for the supporters at Karrakatta like $ubi!!

Jeesuss H Christ! Suffice to say now,we can all use our knowledge and passion for our clubs,to get more people through the gates. If they give the"What about the standard of footy?"

You shoot back with,"what about yourQuality of Life? You're worried about the standard of footy and you're doing what?Shopping?Seriously?"

The Clubs can help themselves by really promoting things like Premiership Reunions and reintroducing our Heroes to the crowds,as well as their deserved President's Luncheons.

So long as the boys haven't had too much, they can be introduced to the crowd, one by one, after a Run through a Banner,or just a Run through the Gates,to Thunderous Applause!Could there be a rematch with the opponents from 1966 or 1976 for example?Up to the boys really, but at the very least, even both sides can be toasted,in the spirit of everyone's love of Footy and the Mateship that went with it.In our case,WAFL footy.

Perhaps PERTH and East FREMANTLE can arrange something for the 1974 and 1977 Grand Finals, next year if it can be arranged.1st at EAST FREMANTLE,then at PERTH.

Let's get to work folks, with your clubs in the main.

Mate I`m always pumping up the WAFLs tyres to the people I meet day in day, even $ubi and East Perth for crying out loud! Heaven forbid I should wash my mouth out! But the WAFL is an institution that should be educated in schools etc its our heritage, I never did the times table or English Lit at school, I was too busy memorising Sandover medal winners, Simpson medal winner and premiership winners etc hahaha. I got chucked out of English one day when the teacher walked behind me and saw hidden in my Lever arch file was the Westside football newspaper
