problem is BC that numpty Devon has forgotten 1 thing...South's home ground is smack bang in the middle of Freo...!!!

When I had the HT Monaro used to go down and laugh at the Valiants doing bog laps.

All the fun has gone from South st now.
I mean all you get now are little rainbow coloured euro trash cars with save the gay, tree hugging whale stickers on them.
Not a pair of fluffy dice to be seen.

Dont get me wrong gents, love Freo oval, just love to hate South Freo, go figure.

Still the best seeing ground when playing, plenty of shelter for the spectators and gives a good reverb even with a small crowd.

Might go down soon to see where’s the best place to hang the Great White Shark off the Vic Pavillion and work out how much blue and white paint going to be needed to freshen the old girl up.

Like any EP supporter of my vintage, WP, Perth and East Fremantle are all the enemy. All other teams are just making up the numbers and don't stir the emotions.

Do you ever go to Ciccerellos? You do know he ws a East Fan, pity you could not enjoy his Fish..

Bit spoilt in the day fishin from the Palm Beach jetty in the 60’s, early 70’s.
Herring, mackerel, taylor, salmon runs, occasional cobbler.

Don't start me on the causeway and Cockburn Sound.

So, these days, unless its still got the hook in its mouth I don't touch it.
