1. WP +39
2. SF +27
3. CL +24
4. EF +19
5. PH -2

6. SD -8
7. $U -22

These numbers don't add up! It may well be that Peel & East Perth have not been included but in using this approach (for and against)the total should sum to zero across the whole competition. I will check the Peel and East Perth totals to see if this happens.

A quick analysis of Peel and East Perth's free kick differential shows that Peel is -57 and East Perth is - 18. Incidently Peel has received less free kicks than the opposition in EVERY game.
The table now stands at:
1. WP +39
2. SF +27
3. CL +24
4. EF +19
5. PH -2

6. SD -8
7. EP -18
8. $U -22
9. PT -57

I have not checked the veracity of the numbers in BH's initial table nor double checked mine but as the overall competition difference now stands at 2 we can say these figures provide a high level of statistical confidence after the first 8 WAFL rounds. I will leave it to others to interpret these figures more closely.

However as previously stated by Shiny Duck "I don't see why the free
kick count should be even" ...in every game or over the season!

I only listed the WAFL clubs as the 2 AFL Reserves teams ceased to exist in my record books!

yeah right  ...... more likely because it bumps SD up to 6th spot on your ladder BH...... ;)

yeah true BH, EF may get looked after by the umps :P .....and when we don"t, we don't go moaning and groaning like you SD girls do.....swings in roundabouts...FFS

..anyway going by Custys table, SD are obviously NO WHERE NEAR the bottom as you SDFC princesses bang on about week in week out...no wonder why Peel lost to SD a few weeks back....Peels side was younger, less experienced and SD got more freakin free kicks!!

the SD fans really need to start sucking it up like the Subi fans do and actually hope their side starts winning some games through ability instead of relying on the umps to be kinder to them .......all your table has shown BH is that, even with the umps blowing their whistle in favour for the opposition each week, a good team like Subi will over come this and win no matter what.

After nine rounds the free kick differential now stands at:
WP +49
SF+27
C+25
EF+9
P-2
S-15
SD-15
EP-19
PT -57

For the first time this season Peel received the same number of free kicks as the opposition!

This is purely an academic exercise as the tally's will vary from week to week. Anyway I'll now leave this exercise for others to contemplate. Keep a scoreboard if you wish but once the game is over you won't change the result!

Freezin wrote: BC that ladder of BH means little TBH.....Subi are the worst offenders in the umps eyes, yet they are two games clear of the chasing pack......SF are 2nd best off in the eyes of the umps yet they are only 5th?.....I can understand Perth fans having a legit reason to whinge about the umps because they are last....but then folk will say their side isnt very strong....I really cant see why SD fans moan so much about being hard done by all the time......especially with Subi even worse off then them yet they have only lost one game!.....If Subi r good enough to overcome the umps why cant Swans?.......just think SD fans over rate their side here on these forums and look for easy excuses when they dont win......the umps....youth and inexperience.......if you are good enough you are old enough........

i hear you freez...my take is that subi plays an aggressive style of footy which wins games but doesn't necessarily go down well with the umpies...no complaints from me as i'd sooner sit on top of the premiership ladder if it means we sit on the bottom of the free kick table.

I guess losing a GF might give most folk some leeway in whinging about the umps.....but not every week like most of Swannie boys seem to do on here......anyway from the looks of things Peel seem to be the only team that have the right to whinge at present.....-57!

So BH how does your system work if they don't exist.I assume You don't include the free kicks for and against the swannies when you play them.I suppose you only have a G7 premiership table as well.Looks like making the top 5 in a seven team comp is looking gtood for the swannies.

C22 Swan Districts Football Club live and well; East Perth exists in name only. I understand why you are so bitter and twisted.
