Maybe because as a rule we play a style of footy that does not tolerate seagulling....it's probably because our clubs colours are the same as Collingwood. Some things are just ingrained in to the Aussie psyche. Have you ever thought of presenting these stats to the umpires association. If genuine over a10yr period it could be argued it is a pattern. I've always wondered if jumper colours have an ingrained genetic influence on umpiring decisions much like colours do in nature. The subconscious is a funny yet remarkable thing. Maybe we should ask Dr Karl on TripleJJJ. Might be worth posing the question.

SD I am appalled. One can only deduce from your comments that when the game wass up for grabs Swans remarkably didn't seem to get many free kicks. Yet even more remarkably when the game was dead and buried that Swans received a large number of free kicks. Perhaps you needed to also indicate that in the last quarter a significant majority of the free kicks Swans received were in their defensive 50 metres. Perhaps you might have also made the observaion that pushes in the back to Tallan Ames by K Bradley in the Mt Barker game were not free kicks; yet pushes in the back against Subiaco players in the forward line were free kicks.

For as long as i have been posting i don't think any team has beaten swans because they have been a better team it has always been the umps and one sided decisions.Obviously the umps hate your mob.Should get one of your honchos to talk to the umpires adviser and get rid of this conspiracy against the mighty ducks.

I've noticed a few of the 16's boys like Huntley, Grimson, Humphries, Ebsary et al have come up to play Colts freeze so what is your point?

Had a good chat with Coops yesterday Freeze and believe they are younger. Apparently we are the only club to have played 16's a couple of times this year. His words about yesterday's game was it was the best colts performance of the year, the boys were hard at it and switched on for entire game.

The umpiring depo are too ignorant to take on any constructive advice as Greg Harding explained to me and BH on Colts GF day, he said the club presented down the ground video evidence of their blunders in the first semi to try and help them improve etc and they didnt want to know about it!? That explains what they are like

When you have umpires like Worobec, Williamson etc umpiring league match you have to wonder about the quality of those making the appointments. Add to this is the absurd interpretations that are currently in vogue you have the standard and mess that is the umpiring at AFL and WAFL levels.

DW see the comment from Swandog above whilst also factoring in the free kick tally's ladder I do every year and you get the general impression of what that untouchable buffoon umpiring coach & his lunatic fluorescent deciphles think of our great club!

No point mate, just noticed that EF have played Joey Eardley of late and he is 15 apparently......and that EF side which played WP on Sat had 16 guys 15 - 17 and the rest were 18 yrs and 3 over agers.......how have SD covered losing a shed load to the state team?.........great to see both sides have covered their losses well so far.......

Freeze conspiracy or call it whatever you like I just do the tally's every year and without fail we are in the bottom few. I live in hope one of these years we will be on the positive side of the ledger but we are obviously far too undisciplined regardless if it's Harding, Dawson or Turner coaching the squad!

As for the Colts yes Foster has done a good job in guiding your squad through these difficult State 18s months as it plays havoc with results as those teams with only 1 or none representing WA have a full side to play against the likes of EF, SF, C & SD who provide the bulk of the squad most years. Unfortunately last weekend we blew a good opportunity to get a bit of a break on our very talented Claremont buddies by kicking a quite incredible 6.23 in perfect conditions for footy.
