I for the life of me can't work out why the free kick count should be even.

common sense says they shouldn't SD. imo free kcik counts depend on a teams style of play, who has the greatest time in possession, umpire interpretation and their positioning around the ground. it also depends on individuals. some go beyond the rules and attract frees against like Yarran at Subi who continually gets pinged for putting hands in the back of defenders while others like ROB at East Freo and Hams at South Freo use the rules for their advantage...in saying that it would be a concern to Subi coaching staff that they've given away 22 more frees than they've received across 8 games played this year.

58s the Eagles' supporters have made it an artform. Who was the player in the GF 2005 who marked (or did he give away a free kick) the ball in the last few seconds? I must have dreamed all the Eagles' comments about that decision.

BC that ladder of BH means little TBH.....Subi are the worst offenders in the umps eyes, yet they are two games clear of the chasing pack......SF are 2nd best off in the eyes of the umps yet they are only 5th?.....I can understand Perth fans having a legit reason to whinge about the umps because they are last....but then folk will say their side isnt very strong....I really cant see why SD fans moan so much about being hard done by all the time......especially with Subi even worse off then them yet they have only lost one game!.....If Subi r good enough to overcome the umps why cant Swans?.......just think SD fans over rate their side here on these forums and look for easy excuses when they dont win......the umps....youth and inexperience.......if you are good enough you are old enough........

No wonder the Old East supporters always blow up about this tally ..probably feel a bit sheepish about being so well looked after year after year!

These numbers don't add up! It may well be that Peel & East Perth have not been included but in using this approach (for and against)the total should sum to zero across the whole competition. I will check the Peel and East Perth totals to see if this happens.
