All the extra more technically updated cameras better not be so loud I can't hear Percy & Spud on the wireless while I'm at the game.

Discovered last season that sitting in the immediate vicinity of Percy at a game is as good as it gets Barney...ferk the TV and the colourful language boundaries it carries

Don't mind of the games are not shown live. That's the way it used to be when I was a kid. The last quarter was shown live on the ABC to encourage people to go to the games, then at about 6.00 today's football would be on and then at about 10.00 a replay.

In a nutshell, go to the games live. No problem.

I reckon it's the best thing to happen to the WAFL for 30 years and I can't wait

Bloody oath, this Is probably the best thing for WAFL in over 25 year, commercial TV coverage was something just dreamt about years ago, I can't believe the negative shit, the alternative was zero coverage,

The ABC did a decent job , over the journey , but was never a patch on commercial coverage of the likes of 7 in the WAFL heydays on the 70 s and 80s...I have no issue with non live coverage, live coverage in the metro area only came about recently and when the comp had died from the eagles and dorks , in the big days it was always a replay or delayed , in a way a preferred it that way...and there's still a chance a few games if not all may be live...I'd really like a panel and highlights show to be honest. , sometimes a live game if it's not your team can be a tad dull, if they mixed it up and taled about all teams it would be cool,

Could be on to something there Bazza although gonna be hard to get highlights from all 4 games on camera....how good it would be though if we had a program again like the program Harvey Deegan used to present. Goal of the week, mark of the week etc with only the highlights from each game on display and a quick chat with the coaches. Get the right host and we might even get tv to talk the WAFL up ...won't be holding my breath thou in a city dominated by footy chiefs obsessed with blue & gold feathers

And now that Dennis is retiring from AFL commentary maybe he could be encouraged to some WAFL calling on 7. No long plane rides for him. He's always been a supporter of the WAFL.

Given Channel Eagle is doing the broadcasting it'll be all about WART and second string beagles players.

Im not sure about that BC, but you could be right, the proof will be in the pudding I guess, mate they still know a SF v EF game if both are going well will always rate well.

no argument there Bazza re EF v SF drawing an audience...throw SD and WP games into the mix and reckon they might be on a winner. maybe they could programme a Subi v Claremont block buster...reckon they'd get five people watching ;-(
