TOPIC:

I am calling on ALL supporters and members of W.A.F.L. Clubs EXCEPT East Perth to attend the Finals this season and cheer on your own side, then stay and cheer on whichever side is playing AGAINST East Perth.
Example of this is that in the Colts, 7 of the 9 Clubs (Peel won't be taking part) should have supporters cheering AGAINST East Perth (Eagles PUPPETS, Feagles, Feral Eagles, call them what you will).
In the reserves, supporters of the Lions, Falcons, Sharks and possibly Tigers should stay after supporting their own side.
Members and supporters of Swans, Lions and Sharks should come along and support whoever is playing AGAINST East Perth.
This will send a VERY strong message to the W.A.F.L. Commission that the Football Public is NOT in favour of the alignment. Making up signs and banners is encouraged, however, you can expect the security people will have been told to confiscate them, so the more there are the harder their job will be.
Please support the boycott.

I'm on board.That said, being the "devil's advocate", wouldn't the brain surgeons at the WAFC see a large crowd as a success?

not if 99% of the crowd boo WCE aligned EP players every time one of them touches the ball...

Y would u include the colts, they have nothing to do with the alignment process, just another jim henson product being stupid.

Do what u like to the other grades but have some common sense abt the colts.

I wouldn't be booing colts and ressies as I think they're all innocent and none are aligned to the beags...just the league players for mine and that would include all of them because the non-aligned guys playing league are a party to this fiasco as well. If I were Moss or Johnson or Wolfe I would've asked for a transfer rather than suit up for WART.

Can't see too many WP fans turning up to Medibank on Sat to cheer on the Sharks to victory! ...........

I guess whilst the players are still wearing the black & blue of EP, all those non AFL boys still believe they are representing EP......fella's like Wulff, Lee, Blee, Anderson, Moss etc are all born and bred EP boys don't forget.....whilst fella's like Smith and Johnson came to EP for Bronte to pay their mortgages and current lifestyle......and does one really think local fella's like Sheed, Brennan, McInnes, Main etc would be at EP if their paymasters said otherwise?

Not watching your side play an away game v EP may be the best way to make a protest and when the G7 play home games v EP then stick out the protest banners....especially when the match is televised.....can't see how booing the players is gonna achieve anything......

And if EP get their short chippy chippy game happening and rack up the possessions we are going to be out of breath pretty quickly with all that booing!!!

As I have alluded to in a couple of posts I have nothing against the EP players as they have no choice but to play or leave. Not an option for the AFL guys.
So we should not blame the players at any level for the situation and take it out on them. The culprits are the EP board,Full time coach and the WAFC

If WP ressies get into the GF I will be there to support them for sure.

One thing that could backfire Cardinal forever is if thousands turned up (which I doubt) the WAFC PR would see it as a victory for the alignement and they would start blowing their trumpets about how good it is. The WAFC has a good record of making things look good that are the opposite. Unfortunately a few are fooled.
I went off my tree after hearing Knaptons radio interview re several issues (see WPFC thread Foxtel Debarcle)

I honestly feel a lot of WAFL supporters will vote with their feet next year and give it away. Unfortunate as the clubs will suffer but we must ask the question Did the WAFL G7 Presidents do enough to stop it? Were they united? Did they stand up to the WAFC? They have more power than we think and if the WAFC saw a rebellion about to happen and possibly the loss of a Feeder competition they might of made the right decisions. As they say the best form of defence is attack.
