Respect your opinion kalal, but it's hard not to dislike anything East Perth atm. I wouldn't slag people like yourself, jardine, grump et al, but when you have in laws like mine that sit back smugly laughing how EP are going to pick up the next 4 or 5 flags, it's gotta gall you big time. I guess it's unfair judging people like yourself against these idiots.

There is no way any self respecting royals member or supporter can take any real glory out of winning flags from this alignment. The only win I have enjoyed this year was yesterday's due to only 6 eagles players being apart of the team but even then it's just not the same.

folk wouldn't have such a problem if more of these WCE listed boys were actually EP products....McInness, Hill, Karpanny and Cripps aren't and they kicked over 80% of EP goals...EF had their best chance to beat the AFL alignment and stuffed it up.....gee Lee and Wulff are classic hardball getters.....two guys who bleed EP and are a credit to the true EP fans and something they can be proud of.

We are very proud of those two along with Steve Payne, clutterbuck etc I'm proud of any home grown Royal as you would be of your own home grown players.

Come WAFL GF day support for East Perth will come from West Coast fans. The Eagles will not make the AFL finals so in order to get their "footy fix" they will be encouraged to throw their support behind their aligned Reserves Team. The WAFC & the AFL will promote this as a chance to see the younger/next generation players in action hoping to swell attendances. Hopefully those in the heirachy then take note of how many of those supporters...young & old are wearing the "Old Easts" colours or the gold & blue of the AFL West Coast Eagles!! RIP WAFL

I have to ask, what number constitutes a win not being enjoyable - 6 eagles, 8, 10, 15 eagles? To say you enjoyed the win because you only had six Eagles is extraordinary. As Freeze mentioned, the vast majority of the Eagles Bitch goals came from Eagles so is there a percentage of goals scored by Eagles that makes a win enjoyable as well?

Perhaps we can come up with a formula that we can all use to determine what's an acceptable win for the Eagles ressies. You know, something like the number of eagles in the team divided by the average year to date winning margin of EBFC multiplied by the IQ of the WAFC commissioners. That would work because as the IQ of the commissioners is zero you will always get the right answer - the is no possible situation when an alignment win can be acceptable.

I will leave the self respecting Royal members comment alone as that is another can of worms, but full marks Kalal for flying the flag for the couple of East Perth players remaining.

I stayed and watched the first half of the league game to watch the Colts players from past couple of seasons play, and Wolf and Lee.

I was pleased to see Mitch Howlett, Fras, etc all play well for the league, I was equally pleased to see Boston Williamson play for EF, great bloke and a player that will develop if given the chance.

That is my pleasure at the game but it is a fairly narrow one!

Very sad to hear that you have lost interest Grump, I take it you will not have a role at the club next year which is a shame. I would like to thank you for your mentoring role with the colts you have done great work. A club is only as good as it's volunteers but it is more important those volunteers are not conflicted in their roles. Every club needs people pulling in the same direction not white anting from within, in particular with young people and their parents.

Next year is not an issue, the Colts is my primary interest each year but I also like to see those who have passed through the development programme, of which I am a very tiny part (despite my rotundness)play and develop further.
