I think it's a bit sad that we have been reduced to having to boo our WAFL players to get a message across. The blind fools running our league remind me of the Black Knight from the Monty Python movie..."it's ok, just a scratch, just a scratch". I'm not a 'boo-er' myself, but fully understand why people would do it. As for Cardy's comment about people not going to the games next year, I think you may be right. For me personally, I will be more than happy to send my club a cheque for the amount I would normally spend going to games against the WART and FART (if I may borrow these terms!) reserve teams. At least that way, EFFC are not punished for my personal 'boycott'.

If you want to boo anyone why don't you go to your own club president and ask why they rejected the Eagles and Dockers request to have their own team? It was the WAFL presidents that allowed this disgrace to occur. I'm a Royals member and trust me this alignment hurts. I no longer have the love for this great club that I once had but I can't just pick up stumps and leave. The club has given me some of the greatest moments like knocking of WP in the 2002 GF without being aligned to the Eagles. I'm not hear to bag any club as we need to support all clubs as this comp has been quite strong over the past few years but at the end of the day the Eagles and Dockers should have their own clubs.
What good is it going to do bagging players like Wulff, Clutterbuck etc? Did they ask for the alignment? No they didn't and neither did players like Sam Butler, Jacob Brennan etc. If you want to get up anyone go ask your own club like Subi, Claremont, Perth etc why they also put their hand up to be the Eagles aligned club but were unsuccessful with their approach.
I have know issue with other clubs hating East Perth like you have done in the past but that was for good reasons like Hating the way Dev Perry and David Swan were to tough for your players or because of us feral supporters but don't hate our club for something that was going to occur either way whether it was EP or not.
At the end of the day South's and Claremont souled their souls before any other club back in 99 but how we all forget.
We should all be fronting the WAFC not EPFC. For me I hope the alignment ends asap but I can't see the Eagles not getting their way.

Claremont did not put our hands up to be aligned, don't make things up. we learnt from our mistake in the late 90s.

Mate it's no lie, just ask the hierarchy at your club what they were discussing with the eagles back in 2012. Again not here to start arguments etc but EPFC weren't the only club to put their hands up come time for alignment.

Correct, but it was going to happen in some shape or form either way, and it was your pathetic club that succumbed...so how about tell us how weak THEY were!!!

Rock with people like yourself it's not worth even replying to. Your mind is set on starting crap with us Royal supporters even though we agree that the alignment stinks but u continue to sink the boots in to the innocent party (members and supporters). It's like kicking a dog when their down, you must get a great thrill. I'm not hear to have to talk crap like this with other forum members and as u stated what I said was correct and I'm just giving my opinion. Trust me it hurts that we are aligned with the eagles but as stated previously this could of been avoided had the eagles been allowed their own team.

I think it is counterproductive to attack the East Perth supporters who oppose the alignment. They are the ones who could potentially bring pressure to bear on their club to overturn this decision. The history leading up to the alignment is irrelevant, it is now a reality and there is no gain in pointing fingers of blame. As WAFL supporters we now need to work together to ensure this alignment is scrapped like the other ones were.
