obviously you don't have Garletts best interests at heart then 42.....as long as the kid gets his chance at show casing his skills and earning a decent living playing AFL footy, who really cares who he plays for in 2014, as long as he plays hey?......anyway if he is half as good as most of you SD boys think he is, one would presume Garlett would be playing more AFL than WAFL in 2014, if drafted by WCE or Freo.... don't you think?......

....hopefully WCE give Big Tony a second chance too.....perhaps Freo might....they need some tall fella's!!....no doubt 42 would begrudge Notte earning another AFL shot as well..........it would seem 42 would be happy for Notte and Garletts to rot in the WAFL playing for SDFC, than gain a chance of being drafted by an AFL suitor say like WCE or Freo, .......who cares if they perhaps play a few games for Peel or EP along the way of establishing an AFL careers.....beggars belief, the level of selfishness of some folk these days.

Almost as selfish as certain clubs trying to win Colts Premierships by not promoting promising Colts players up to their League side hey freeze!!

What an absolute joke your comments Freezin. It is people like me and my ilk which support the WAFL clubs. Without our support the WAFL ceases to exist. Under those circumstances where would the likes of Garlett, Notte et al be?

If you are asking me would I prefer Notte and Garlett to play for Swans in the WAFl; the answer is an unambiguous, unreserved, unequivocal and complete YES.

BH... out of EFFC and SDFC, which club has had to juggle their AFL numbers the most each week?......pretty hard to promote from within when others are blocking the way don't you think?......I for one understand the fact that Malaxos was required to give AFL fringe fella's such as Brown, Sutcliffe, Dalziell, Brennan, Griffen, Simpson, Duffy, Menagola, Stevens, Houlihan, Bucovacz etc games when available most weeks....part and parcel of having those guys aligned to the club.....

....hopefully with this alignment up and running in 2014, EF can join the illustrious ranks of SDFC and start promoting a few colts boys from within next year..time will tell I guess......don't think it's selfish when one has little control over their actions.....do you?

42......so you would rather Garlett, Cameron, Lobb etc be denied the chance to better themselves on and off the footy field by staying at SDFC instead of an opprotunity to play at WCE and Freo?.....intersting analogy mate.....

I simply find it very hard to believe anyone could be callously narrow minded swanny. I bet if you were held back from a well deserved promotion at work, you'd scream bloody murder. Yet you want to do the same to a couple of kids because it suits your agenda. Is this fair or is it just SDFC thing? If Tommy Howlett say, was picked up by WCE or FFC, I'd be spewing at losing him, but very happy for him to have a chance at the big time. Unbelievable stuff.

Why would you be spewing if Tom Howlett got drafted? Hardly an East Fremantle product! If WCE got him he would only be returning home to East Perth

so SwanDog you wouldn't be spewing if say if Twomey, Hildebrandt, Elari, Geappen Riggio,Davis or Roach.....were good enough to be drafted by WCE or Freo next year?...because realistically none of them are SD products are they mate.....

hopefully the mods start an umpire rant thread for next year......drives me nuts all these umpiring whinging trolls hijacking threads bitching constantly how their side was raped, robbed or mugged each week......perhaps Swandog you can take ownership of this initiative and get it up and running before the season starts in 2014....

Jimmy I'm quite surprised the likes of BH haven't highlighted the fact that Cl don't seem to promote any off their good colts boys.....eg: Martin, Hogan, Mitchell, Williams etc surely would of been better bets than playing the likes of Silvagni, Schammer, Suban, McGinnity, McGovern, Hamp, Stevenson etc over the last few years?......out of interest why didn't Cl play these young boys?......
