touch wood Lobb gets his wish for a Melbourne club, sounds like he is quite keen to try life over east......

.....out of interest if Lobb does get drafted will SD be interested in sticking Stockley onto their magnetic white board?......

as for trolls Swandog....no different from taking the mickey out of Cardy's drinking habits big fella, as it is folk taking the mickey out of the SDFC..... though taking shot at someone personally is far different than taking a shot at their footy club?.....pity those feral supporters didn't get hold of that car playing the WP theme song on GF day.....would of been a giggle reading the end result...

good luck to Garlett,Lobb and Cameron at the testing.....oh and big Tony too!

I think every club would have a whiteboard haha

I for one would love to see Frank Stockley, Josh Smith and Freddy Clutterbuck or Aaron Sweet at the Demons next year.

Probably won't happen though but hey we can all dream.

Just did a check of each clubs website and not surprisingly many haven't changed much since Grand Final day. A couple of interesting points:

Claremont have a 'last drinks' day at Claremont Oval which includes a legends match on October 26th, I assume that the bulldozers will move in the next day. Not sure if its open to non Claremont members but I'm sure there would be lots of people that would like to pay their respects to the old place. Here's the link: www.claremontfc.com.au/latest-news/calli...drinks-at-claremont/

Jake Murphy won Claremont F and B

At South Fremantle, Michelle Cowan won the AFL football woman of the year. The other question at South tonight would be will Hayden Schloithe stay with them after his delisting by the Dockers? He is a WA boy, so he will unless he gets another AFL chance.

Same questions for Peel with Creighton, Faulks and Forster although all three of those come from interstate, so they may go home. Also there is Howson at East Fremantle.

At Subiaco, George Hampson and Brett Mahoney shared the Outridge medal and QBE extended their sponsorship by 3 years. They have now sponsored the Lions for 29 years! Surely a record?

Swans have just elected 4 board members and West Perth are still celebrating ( and rightly so!)

Many of the clubs have their F and B medals this week so there should be a bit more news shortly. I will trawl each clubs website every couple of weeks to check for any updates

Mikeh.....be really surprised if any of Faulks, Creighton or Forster stay in WA.....as for Schloithe and Howson, still surprised both guys got the flick.....good for SF and EF if they come back to those clubs in 2014......but hopefully both guys will get a look in elsewhere......

good to see Hampson get some reward for a good season at Subi.....hopefully a few AFL clubs will be talkng to the youngster over the coming months......big loss for Subi if he did get drafted, saying that sounds, like a few players may be drifting over to Subi next year.....well Ozfooty rumours anyway.......looks like WP will be the new home for a few folk too.....EP folk apparently.......though TBH Sampey would only strengthen WP reserves side......not to sure about Payne......

One fella I'd love for EF to chase is Seal.....always kicked a few against EF over the years.....as well Smith and Johnson and Moss :cheer:

Cheers Mekhah - great idea and lets hope this thread remains free of condescending comments and spiteful rhetoric ....
Some blurb circulating the streets and coffee shops:
Stockley on the move - loves West but cant crack the league, doesn't want to end a career in the 2nds if others are keen to show him more favour....
GF player given 'ridiculous' penalty by WAFL tribunal - appeals board to be approached by WP for an honest & fairer result....watch this space..
Rassmussen being courted by Sydney, poss one other club
Manning have Sydney - Hawthorn looking at him - Brisbane already chatted with him...
Rhodda once again have two AFL clubs pencilling him in for reviewing - unsure which two, poss Saints and Nth Melb.
Gauddy rated very very high to take this years B&F
3 of lasts years internal player recognitions/awards to be same as last year (player wise)- not hard to guess who gets the 'courage' award.
Several of the current players in the main group will have to work harder next year to retain their spot with transfers and trades. Two in particular will access ( are nervous)their continued staying at West with the playing stock being bolstered.

That's it for now - looking forward to the B&F dinner this week. I'm sure there will be more scuttlebutt after the night.

Cheers again for this thread..... ;)

Not doubting you but last I heard from co workers was that the year off had not done much to repair his groin, so maybe a gamble for both parties if he has,

The best chance SDFC will have of picking players up with their cost savings you would think would be younger EP players jumping ship. Would be good to see Higgins go accross, has close ties to Swans area.

Clutterbuck and Payne are good sorts who would suit the ducks. Doesnt Twomey shop himself most times? Would save money for the club with no big on field loss him he chose to go. Kraks is a chance to return but would be asking for a decent $, you would hope he realises who helped him back to the big time and return for less than his asking price.

With the bleeding at EP and Peel it could be a big change in scenery next season. Subi will be trying to add experience.
WP are in the window for more and would be only adding at the top end.
SF are building and seem to be getting old SF lads back.
who cares about EP and Peel.
EF never really do much.
Claremont will have mass exodus and could look from within with some additions from experience leaving other clubs.
Perth should look within more, but will again recruit heavily.
Swans will be trying to save dollars and look outside the square.
