My estimate is 34,567 to attend. Mind you there will be a more accurate figure on Sunday than the farcical figure of 5,452 on the WAFL site for the Swans versus the club formerly known as East Perth. If that was the correct figure Basso'z capacity is about 12,000 and we all know that we had a game where 22,000 attended for a Swans West Perth match in the 80s.

the 1st semi final at Basso led to an interesting development that the WAFC introduced this year - they went to all the gates at Basso and took all the money and said it had to be split between the 4 clubs competing in the league finals that day..
they hadnt told Swans about this beforehand so obviously they have a drama with Swans about something..

Between both games the $$$ should have been split between SD, WP & C as the WCE certainly dont need any money!!

Swans definitely knew about it. The WAFL had a meeting about it about 6 weeks before the finals in which ALL 9 clubs were represented. A proposal to change the way the finals gates were shared was brought up and voted on by ALL 9 clubs.
