Can someone please remind me what salary recently fucked off CEO Gavin Taylor was on and the long list of other salaries in the multiple hundred thousand range and the useless cunts are penny pinching when it comes to a 100,000 dollar bill to host the WAFL Grand Final at the best stadium in the world that WE BUILT. WE PAID FOR IT.

You useless mob of incompetent scabs, how fucken dare you reduce the WAFL Grand Final to be not worthy of being played at the premier sporting football purpose built facility in Perth? You are a fucken disgrace and so are the club  president's who support this idea and the clubs scrambling to host the WAFL grand final for your own selfish benefits.

Reducing our grand final to nothing more than a “Sunday League” GF.
2nd rate decisions made by second rate people that don’t have a feel for the game.

Ask the players where they’d prefer to play,Freo,Joondalup or Optus stadium.

Covid restrictions at Optus with reduced numbers of 25k proved the Stadium still had heaps of noise and atmosphere.

Gents. I just read the article. The Falcons are only asking for the game to be played up there. Surly this won’t happen. 30 thousand at Optus on Saturday night. I didn’t here anyone talking about lost revenue to Freo. If the WAFL GF (All grades - In proper order - Colts, Reserves, League) had 25 thousand attend at an average of $25 = $625k. This covers the cost. Period. Argument over. We should all email the WAFC today. I will. 

Not sure how much you read between the lines but not sure where you can find anything abt the WAFC just WP trying toshow what good boys they are!

The article said the next few GFs are up for tender which reads to me that it will be at a suburban ground. What an insult to players, members, supporters and sponsors.  The WAFC receives around $11m a year from the govt so surely they can set aside an extra $100k to hold the WAFL GF at the best stadium for footy in Australia.

If Joondy ask for the GF to be played in south Geraldton then the WAFC will do it, what Joondy wants Joondy gets just look at the way the WAFC and the tax payer dug them out of their self made financial hole, whereas teams like Swans had to do it by them selves, Joondy just had to throw their hands up, say it's all too hard and it was sorted.

The GF needs to be at Optus up until such time as an alternate venue that can seat a minimum of 25k becomes available. You'd think that a state govt running a multi billion dollar surplus could find a pissy amount of $100k to support our great historical state leagues premier event. That being said they refuse to spend any extra to rescue the states failing health system so footy has no chance.

Exactly. Not sure why some are saying it's just a submission by WP. The WAFC have clearly made their little minds up the WAFL Grand Final is not worthy of being played at the premier stadium in Perth and the country. If you threw a handpass to these muppets they would crap themselves.
