Can somebody please explain to me why those who are scared of dying from covid weren't wearing masks for the last 3 months since the last lockdown?

If you believe in masks wear the damn thing, you don't need a government to tell you when to wear it. From 6pm and to 12pm tuesday you'll wear it, not before or after? People seem to need an authority figure to tell them what to do at the expense of their own common sense.

An umpire can't touch a cricketers hat but can touch the ball that players touch. A spectator can't touch the ball but can have his paper or hat signed by a cricketer.

People can sit in a pub but not stand or dance. Covid knows if you are sitting or standing apparently in this state. Damn smart virus it seems.

Please at least question some of this crap that has nothing to do with science.
LH it was amazing that covid knew not to infect any one of the near 10,000 here in WA at the Western Farce rugby (NSW game isnt it McGowan?) and the Wildcats all in close proximity I might add but apparently covid will infect WAFL supporters of which you would avg 2000 in outdoor venues that can hold 10k-20k?!
And then of course you would have had more than 100,000 people heading down South or up the Coast on Friday arvo before midnight for the Anzac long weekend. If McGowan & co were serious about this pathetic lockdown they would have been compulsory from the 2.30pm press conference to announce it!
Covid must be a part time/casual student worker only working on weekends (or in this case long weekend)...fair dinkum!
Actually rugby union is an international sport including in WA.  Rugby union has been played in Western Australian schools for well over 50 years.  Those who left Perth or Peel prior to the commencement of the lockdown is a damning indictment of those who left rather than the McGowan's government.  Did Freo play in front of a crowd?
Really wow by what a few hundred rich privileged kids from the Western Suburbs Private Schools like Twiggy Forrest?

The fact your mate McGowan allowed a silly rugby game to go ahead in front of no crowd resrictions and then a few hours later no WAFL is allowed to go ahead at all is as absurd as trying to defend such ridiculous lockdowns 42!

Hmmm isnt the Farce & Wildcats privately owned & funded by rich blokes who probably tipped in huge amounts to Labor's recent election win?!

When did Belmont Senior High School move to the western suburbs of Perth.  Rugby was played in that school in the 1960s.  I haven't seen the official funding figures for the most recent state election.  For the record I have never met Mark McGowan.

I would expect that if a decision is made to allow crowds to the Freo - Eagles game a similar decision would be made to allow crowds to the WAFL games.

No it's another shining example of policy on the run and this government's ineptitude where someone heading down south on Friday at 11:55pm got through and others at 12:05am didn't.  Then there's the announcement on Saturday that escapees from Perth who went down south had to adhere to lockdown rules as if they were in Perth...why wasn't it figured out those people were potentially exposing others already living down south beforehand? To make it all the more ridiculous,  crowds who went to the Force and Wildcats were considered safe but those planning to attend Freo v NM were in mortal danger.  Give me strength.
Well may we ask why the people who left Perth and/or Peel did not show some commonsense and concern for others and did not stay in Perth/Peel?  Why did those people think they were special?

Hang on...Health Minister Crook has just stated there will be a crowd of some sort at the Freo WCE Derby this weekend. If that's the case, why aren't we having crowds at the WAFL?
