Cl, Subi & WP maybe in for a surprise this year.
Not all will make the 4.
And maybe none of them.
All lost some good players and have not replaced them

What it does mean that apart from raging premiership favourites Souths the other 4 spots will be hotly contested by most of the other teams, I see Su, P, Cl, slightly ahead of EP, WP, EF & SD. The flies in the ointment as always are Peelmantle and WCER.
Peelmantle will struggle early given the long list of injuries at Freo but could make a charge at the 5 late once they get fit. WCER are an enigma, plenty of talent but often no commitment or drive at WAFL level, lets hope that continues.

Same with Perth, haven't replaced Mcdonald. We haven't replaced Busher and Waterman but we have added Treacy, Patmore and Butters. And have got possible top ten draft pick young Van Rooyen to have a look at up forward. Patmore I'm looking forward to have a look at, he's a ball magnet from colts days and has performed well in pre season games.

You've lost more than just Busher and Waterman.
Goddard & Nyhuis are highly credentialed losses.
Not sure replacements are of the same standard.
Do you think your list is better than last year?
Also not sure all is happy down your way.

Glad your happy with your losses SS.
Horsley (Retired). Waters (Retired). Newton (Retired). Reid (Ammo). Doyle (Ammo). Edwin-Baldwin (EP).
Not sure you've covered those losses.
And you've lost your coach.

Goddard was playing reserves by the end of the year and hadn’t progressed at all, Nyhuis was bizarrely played as a negating defender by Harris and didn’t have much influence on our season. I don’t see us as the hot premiership favourites that the bookies strangely do but definitely think we’re top four material.

After watching them on Saturday I would dismiss the Tiggers at your peril, WP were good the week before against us but the Tiggers were Very good. Maybe were just a little bit worse, you choose!

Horsely, Waters and Newton are big losses, I agree, but we appear to have gained a very capable ruckman in Putt something we have not had since Zac Clarke, this releases Dela to do more around the ground work which is a massive gain. Our successful ressies and colts from the last few years have plenty of youngsters to step up so not overly concerned. Last year we just missed out after struggling with injuries to our A graders for much of the short season, those guys are effectively gains this year. We wont be the all conquering side of '18 & '19 which is a good thing for the comp, but I will, if we can keep our best team on the paddock, be surprised and disappointed if we don't make the finals.
