I reckon that next season is going to be quite sensational. The signings that most clubs have made are just adding to the strength of the competition.

It just needs the right level of promotion by the clubs and League to get back to being the competition we all know it is and should be!

There's the rub Grump, the clubs look like having the best product and comp for some years so it's squarely in the lap of the WAFC to get off its collective arses and promote the comp, hopefully the parliamentary review will "encourage" them to do so rather than crawling up the arses of the 2 AFL franchises.

Part of that includes reverting to 20 minute quarters. Also good fixturing and positive promotion.
Plenty of stand alone evening fixtures in the early months when the weather is good. It just needs some thought and implementation.

I've got a possible headline, anybody interested in Kane Mitchell? All I'm basing it on is I see he's peculiarly not listed on the clubs website squad, and I know he was one of Harris's closest allies and he was pretty vocal about that towards the board when they made the call.

He'd look terrific in maroon and gold.
