The lack of respect from a comp that's been going less than 30 years towards state comps that are 120++ years old is disgraceful. The latest thing they were considering was 3 separate mid season draft to rape the state comps, was glad to see the recent article written by Malcolm Blight where he strongly criticises these drafts and the disrespect they show the local comps, how a champion state league player can be lost by a club fighting for finals and result in missing finals or missing out on a flag just so that player can fill a list, play no AFL games then get delisted like some piece of property no longer required.

So the In’s for Perth are mounting up with a couple of them pending.

McInness, Grey and Fisher will all suit up in red and black again in 2021 in addition to Loersh (ex EF), Josh Smith (exWCE/Coll), Hitchcock and Reid (ex Claremont).
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Good work @KCEF...A few to add: Jarvis Pina is a return to Peel, Brayden Antonio has retired at WP, Jono Freeman (EP) has returned to QLD, Clem Smith is on board at SF and Steven Payne has retired at Swans.

In terms of more recent news...Blake Schlensog has signed for South Freo off Geelong's rookie list.

That must be world record.
Drafted a month before the draft.

Agree with everything. But maybe it was Cornes rather than Blight?

Thanks STT spot on and great to hear support from someone of his high profile, wouldn't it be nice to hear the same from a few WAFL legends.

I think '21 will be a pretty even comp, Perths extensive recruiting more than compensates those 2 losses and should further improve, CL & SF both improved their lists, Subi will improve with most of those key injured players back but Horsley's loss will be significant, EP will continue to improve, Swans also recruiting strongly, hopefully EF improve, WP have lost some key players but their local zone will produce good replacements and they will remain competitive and nobody but the WAFC gives a rats about Peel salarygate.

I'm not convinced about Claremont. Let's face it, Tracey and Butters were very lucky to get drafted at all, just project players. Watson and Carter are flashy sort of players, but likely to go missing for long periods. SF are going to have a formidable forward line on paper, with Shaw, McCarthy and Parker. However, McCarthy didn't fire at all when he played WAFL in 2018. I'm sure it's been mentioned here, but what happened to Shane Kersten? I heard Blaine Johnson was looking to come back to the WAFL. He'd be a good pick up, though I've heard he's a difficult character.

I reserve judgement on Perth's recruiting. Smith should be solid, but Loersch has a lot to prove. The 3 Claremont players and the guy from Sydney are untested at league level. The most important thing for us has been retaining (hopefully) McInnes, Grey and Fisher, and (again hopefully) getting Yeo and Byrne back.
