Last weekend was the big 8 pointer for Perth

Bloody hard to make that up now mate, still scratching my head how Perth have managed to blow this , only seems like yesterday they were cruising to finals, even in a super short season they have imploded, I really don't know what else can be done to get them in.

well it's going to take a crushing West Perth win either way now mate - but really it was last weekend that shredded it all
but mathematically West Perth can still drop out strangely enough if the reverse occurs but we'll find that out on Saturday night

Some interesting permutations for Saturdays games and placings in the top 4.

Firstly and most obviously South Fremantle cannot be displaced from top spot regardless of the result on Saturday so they will host the 2nd Semi final next week.

If West Perth beat Subiaco by 4 - 5 goals they will displace Claremont into 2nd spot on percentage and play the Doggies in the 2nd semi. If WP win by less than 4 goals Souths will play the tigers.

If Subiaco beat West Perth by more than 4 goals, they will play the same team in the first semi final at Leederville. If the Lions win by less than 4 goals they will be trudging back to Joondalup for the 2nd week running.

If Subiaco lose to West Perth and Perth beat SF, Perth will replace Subiaco in the finals regardless of the margins in either game.

If Subiaco and Perth both lose that opens the door very slightly for East Perth if they can thrash Peel ( would have to be 10 goals +) and make up the % difference on the Lions.

Clear as mud? Of course the only game which is of no significance at all to the finals battle is East Freo v Swans and that my friends is the Channel 7 TV "game of the week" . Go figure that one.

The Perth v SF game will be live streamed on FB. I have never seen these live streamed games. Do they commentate on the game?

Yes I have seen some PFL games live streamed on Facebook and there is always a commentary team with those so I would imagine it would be the same for a WAFL game

Sounds good,

No idea why all games are not live streamed,

Its half time at Lathlain. Subi are gone, East Perth are sitting in the top 4,West Perth were in 2nd spot at one stage but finally missed out by a fraction of a %. Its all open for the Demons if they are good enough and really want a finals appearance.
Amazing afternoon of footy. Royals supporters will be buying lotto tickets if Souths win.

With West Perth beating Subiaco, depends on percentage whether they move into second position on the league ladder. And apparently Perth had a narrow win over Souths and will play finals

Looks great as Claremont will retain 2nd place by 0.25%
