Perth just gave Subiaco and East Perth a sniff and are going to have to beat Swan Districts this week - but Subiaco and East Perth also have to keep winning or it's curtains
Then there's a West Perth in second & Claremont in third match that will be great game

Southerner, we are trusting SF not to stumble this week so that EP can be out of the equation. (assuming P beat SD) Feel free to have a bad game the week after, you know, the wake up call your players need before finals.

There is a very small chance that C could miss out, but they would have to lose badly to WP and have two of P, S and EP make up 70-90 points. But if EP were to win their last two games, they would be quite likely to make up the % they need to get over P or S, especially with a home game v Peel in the last round. The likelihood is that P will beat SD, S beat EF and SF beat EP this week. In the last round, if S get up over WP, they are almost certain to make it, unless P boost % against SD, lose by a small margin v SF and S win by a small margin v WP.

It would be a shame to see yet another finals series with the same old faces: S, SF, C and WP. But that's the most likely scenario at the moment.

If your good enough you deserve to make it, at the moment Perth are in the box seat with 4 points in hand over Su & EP, it's in their hands, if they win their games they deserve to be there if not, then they dont.

Unfortunately your getting some key injuries just at the wrong time which may well have an influence on what happens, it certainly has done up till now for Subi.

I would think that teams like South Fremantle, Claremont and West Perth would be nervously looking over their shoulders hoping that Subiaco don't sneak into the top 4. Of course the Falcons can do something about that in a week

You are spot on about that, something tells me it will happen.

Our trip to Lathlain could be critical, its never been a real confidence crowd for us, even when Perth are only just going I never feel safe heading out there. With Perth on a do or die finals appearance at stake it could well push the door open for them.

Not having lost a game, Souths are killing the pig atm but will really have to watch out for Perth. Was it Mick Malthouse that said the more games you win, the closer you get to a loss?

Absolutley! By that stage it would be fair to say the game will mean a lot more the Perth than to us.

Souths are a proud club and any suggestions they will tank it v Perth so Subi cant get in is very disrespectful. On what I saw last week v Perth they are suffering due to some key losses, Subi got a couple back and easily accounted for them, they were competitive and never gave up but didn't have the werewithal to match a depleted Subi team, so a near full strength South who caned us should expect a comfortable win, anything less will, be very suspicious.
