Is anyone keeping track..

To me they seem to be a bit up on last year, just seem a bit healthier...

Was talking to someone on the phone this morning and apparently more than 27000 have attended in weeks 1 to 3.
Honestly, probably doesn't matter because Wafl crowds aint what they used to be.

Attendances are highest they have been since 2011, average of 2177

You can see attendance totals by year here...

good news -- people sometimes forget, that, on a wet day, back n 80, for example, Subi did not attract a much bigger crowd.

A question mark has to go against the Peel Home game round 1 and also East Freo Rd 3 and 4 same crowd figure of 1536. East Freo R4 crowd appeared bigger than our RD 2 clash with Peel to the naked eye.

I notice that in 1981, Subi had a higher average attendance than Perth or East Freo.

jl: I did not realise that, just shows you what can happen when you win a few games. I will forgive the PFC and EF supporters for not turning up n 1981. I think I read in Spillman's book, that, back in 86, we had 6000 members -- more than Hawthorn.

Figures have been pretty even for 15 years, ironically since the WAFC took the foot off the Marketing peddle. Also ironically is that the lower end average attendances came in WP Premiership seasons :(

2013-A bit better.

leedy -- Could not agree more; if you don't market something or play games up against the gate, it is stupid to crticise crowd figures. The CL South game had a solid gate although it was televised.

I think rick channel has helped a little. Nobody watched the ABC so how were people suppose to know about their WAFL coverage?
