Bullshit jack. We pulled the sleazy VFL out of the shit in 87 when they were going broke. Now they want it again? Just because they have mismanaged the squillions of dollars they had is nobody’s fault but their own. If the Eagles or any other team voluntarily give the modern day vfl one dollar, then I will walk away from it.
And will Gill and his hangers on cut their wages by 50 to 60 %? Not like likely methinks.

My comment relates more to posts not just here, but other threads unrelated to footy.

BTW:

AFL boss Gillon McLachlan has given an undertaking to match any pay cut accepted by the players in a bid to break the wages impasse.

McLachlan and the league executive had previously committed to a 20 per cent pay cut,
