Does seem odd doesn't it.

Maybe they purposely do this with a lot of players as insurance for winning reserves. Have your best players playing league but also ready to step into ressies should the worst happen

Baffling to say the least. I thought league players could play reserves anyway, whilst the league were still in finals. Maybe the emphasis on reserves premierships is a priority at Wembley. May as well of dropped all their league players back with 5 games to go. It's about as stupid as what they have done anyway. Maybe Geoff palmer at waafl commission can shed some more light...

Why was the rule changed that you had to play more reserves games than league game to qualify for a reserves final if you league team wasn't playing on the same day.
If that rule was still in this wouldn't be an issue.
The five games in a grade is a joke, club stacking their two for reserves glory once they have avoided relegation in the ones

That would be a better system than what they have in place now. Only downside would be if some bloke played 10 league games then were to be dropped to the reserves for poor form, then play 8 games in a row for reserves, then the sides reserves makes finals but league doesnt. This occasions would be minimal, but would be better than what they have now.

You're right, then theres the sides who are relegated anyway, then drop back players to ressies chasing twos glory.

Any update on where this is at? I imagine Wembley are probably waiting with baited breathe to be slapped with a wet tram ticket by the all conquering waafl board whom I sure will call past training tomorrow night with a nice bunch of flowers and a bottle of champers to apologise for the inconvenience that this may caused the wembley club

Update is the Fixture will stay as is. Wembley will stay top of the ladder, and must feel severely punished with losing 8 points. WAAFL making a great example, and clubs like this will continue the same antics and get away with it for years to come. Pity bringing the game into disrepute is no longer an issue for the gutless characters who work for the WAAFL. Pity certain clubs can get away with things.

Penalties were issued as per the By-Laws. If it occurred in R3 you would be applauding the result.

Doe - agreed 100% but why have an integrity unit if you are not going to use it? - a club admits that they blatantly cheated 2 weeks in a row yet the spinelass ammos board dishes out the minimial penalty available (not really a penalty when taken into consideration) under the By-Law

As i said in an earlier post, they were happy to throw the kitchen sink at Kelmcott based on something that MIGHT happen in 2016?

This has been a massive fail by the Ammos board and the word amateur pretty much describes them
