Hypothetical but what would happen if the player who played under a false name went on a clobbering frenzy and seriously injured somebody. Would the club then be sued for negligence???

Wembley have a long history of looking past the by-laws and need to have a look at what they stand for as a club. Still CHEATING 25 years on...

Interesting to hear that Whitfords dobbed Wembley in. The only irony would be if Whitfords were to be exposed of having a long running history of paying players. For Whitford's sake you can only hope that the overwhelming rumours from numerous sources are not true.

If you knew how to use facebook you could probably figure out that it was not Whitford who made the report, but another club.

I wont name the player, But he played 11 games league and 6 in reserves. Including 14, 15, 16 and 18. Wouldnt be surprised if he didnt play in all 4 of those games.

If i think the player is who you say it is, the round 13 game (before the round 14 & 15 games that were taken off Wembley) was against Kingsway which opens up a real can of worms - I would suspect That Kingsway would want to check out and see if he did actually turn up and play round 13?

The player in question did front up on the weekend, he's easy to notice, so good try from Wembley to try and pull one over everyone with this.
Definitely an interest of tactic...adds a bit of spice to the finals series.

Which club did the dobbing in? Was it Whitford? Their league coach plays reserves, so I'm sure he'd have noticed if he checked the Reserve team sheets and saw someone that wasn't who they said they were.
Then again...anyone could have done that, the intrigue continues.

Although as I said before, given Wembley's dominance in League and Reserves all season, why didn't they just play with 21 in Reserves...even more bizarre still, the player can actually play Reserves in finals given the league will be involved.

They really had no need to try and cheat the system.

Seems pretty stupid when your reserves win by 10 goals each week to qualify one guy who's played 2 ressie games for the whole year. Well 3 now including round 18. We know the other 3 games aren't legitimate.
