Ok my fellow oz footy bloggers and my special friend sffc4ever you snot swallower I have not missed you.

I woke up on Saturday morning after the 90knot winds decimated my cardboard house under the Tonkin highway. I chucked $15 worth of fuel in me Datsun 120y and chugged up the freeway.

I arrived at Halftime to hear the onion ridge coach instructing his minion assassins to take the heads off the maddo players - kill them, bash them, take their heads off. He reminded me of my dirty uncle Gary who is locked up in casuarina.

Now I know you all believe we came up from the shanty suburbs with our rusty shank knives and sniper elbows with diamond tips. But my poor captain got knocked out with a dirty onions elbow in the first 10 mins, our best looking darty rover got his nose split open and our 14 year old protegy (who has 3 kids) was concussed from a sniping dingo's shoulder In the last qtr.

I snuck into the change rooms after we had flogged the pickled onions by 100 points to sneak in a beer but was disgusted the slimy buggers had given us a warm carton after we paid for it. (Better than no beer I suppose)

Oh by the way I will provide a cardboard dugout for the onions when they come out to the peaceful harmony fields later in the year as their club can't afford a second shade shelter, tight holes.

A couple of the Maddo boys were in a very bad way after the game from some very serious late and dirty tackles from Ocean Ridge .

Late and dirty tackles is different to off the ball incidents though.

If it is late, does that not imply the ball is gone? Therefore off the ball?

I would've thought that if the player does not have the ball in their reach then any malice contact would be considered off-the-ball

Considering the hard line approach the league made with Kelmscott, i truly hope that the Maddington and Onion Ridge thugs will be held accountable for their actions. Sure it may be a first time offence, but this kind of rubbish should be harshly dealt with and not needed in this league, let alone football. Hopefully the coppers hit them with the full wrath of the law.
Wouldn't really expect anything less from the muppets up these clubs though. Put them and Kelmy in a boxing ring and let them belt each other if they don't wanna play football.
