Not once has caz or myself condoned fighting on the footy field caz is refuring to everyones hate for kelmscott is what stives the boys to push harder every week on another note once gain everyone talking about good old kelmy on a forum that is ment to be about the whole a grade game results !!!!!!

Are we talking about people that don't like players who dive, trip and snipe behind play because that's why Goodes gets booed

I think it's highly inappropriate for a high profile person like Nisbet to make any public comment on a matter like this when he wasn't even at the game! If it had've been a player from another club,where he has no vested interest,then he probably wouldn't even be aware of an incident!
There are probably only a few who know exactly what really happened and this will be determined at the tribunal. I really hope the the player gets a fair hearing but I'm not so sure that can or will happen now. I also hope the injured player has quick recovery!

Mad Dog - I cant see in the article that is says that Nisbett wasn't at the game? Given both his sons play, there is a chance he was at the game which has led him to comment?

As for fair hearing, I think that all red cards should automatically go to a Tribunal. This will result in heavier punishments being applied to all. At the moment, a bloke can wack someone behind the play, get red carded, and then walk away with a quick 1 or 2 weeks after a quick chat with the umpires.

Surely now knowing that the WC player has a broken jaw, you don't think that 2 weeks is appropriate? If it was in the AFL, the penalty is significantly increased if the opposition player is significantly injured. I do hope Hayden gets a fair trial, but I think he should also get a fair sentence. On face value, 2 weeks doesn't appear enough.

Take the Luke Hodge case. If swallow actually broke his jaw, I bet Hodge would of got 5-6weeks. As it turned out he got 4 weeks down to 3 with good behaviour.

I dont condone fighting at waafl level but lets all be honest its not the first time nor it will be the last time something like this happens I find it quiet unfair that kelmy and pkayers are the scape goat
