Because Papertalk didnt get cleared (or did then it got reversed) at last minute and coach was going to get a game under his belt but decided last minute not to we only played with 20. Actually in the end as one of boys lack discipline got him a red card after retaliating a punch to the ribs (from his blindside too I might add) by doing the same. As this occured WC big fella bent down and well you know the rest. The ovious disappointment and remorse shown by our boy is still no excuse but calling it a cowardly one punch hit is just pathetic peoples way of stirring up the forum.

Im not medically trained but Im guessing Kelmscott would want to come up with some better bullshit than an open hand if his jaw is broken. In my experience open hands don't break jaws.

Cant you read? Even the ump acknowledged that the ruckman bent down as it happened. He was offered a two week suspension and took it as he knew he'd fckd up. As a wife of a 6 foot 4 hubby with a face full of plates, screws and synthetic eye sockets I can tell you that it happens a lot easier than you think. I hope their big man recovers quickly and gets back on the track soon.

Very lucky to get two weeks. Wonder how many weeks the injured player will miss with his broken jaw.

The ump was in the perfect position he was amongst the play and seen it clear as day if the powers 2 be say 2 weeks where is the luck in that, I feel for the ruck man but end of the day I believe the ump didn't think it was an intentional puch to the jaw it would have been alot more then 2 weeks but hay thats just my opinion
