Id put my two cents in but you boys cant even get ya facts right so why bother? S Train is right. Only Yarran played. Papertalk was cleared Thursday night (numbers on players sheet and all) and then became uncleared. How the hell does that work? The WAAFL have a lot to answer for with their constant rule changing and being able to REVERSE a clearance?? Please explain. As for West Perth RESSIES players playing in the next grade down WAAFL A grade I really dont see the issue either.

On a side note, number 18 for West Coast an absolute gun as well as their young number 8 (I think). They were both really good to watch.

pretty sure you will find that once a WAFL player has been cleared to a WAAFL club they can only play for that club for the rest of the year.

Its designed to stop mercenaries picking up cash on bye weekends,

In this case because they played with Maddington earlier in the year they can't play for another WAAFL club for the rest of the year.

Thanks for that UHTB as I wasnt aware of this. The question still remians how the clearance went ahead. Does their computer software not recognise this?

I do not know whether this is common knowledge in A grade circles but the sacked Maddington league coach this year is now an assistant at Kelmscott for their league team. so my gut feel tells me to watch this space for clearances from Maddington to Kelmscott and many other contacts he has throughout the area. Also it wouldn't have been a coincidence that Yarren played for Kelmscott he has a close relationship with the former Maddington coach.
Just remember ladies and gents Kelmscott are paying like many other clubs have in the past and will in the future but like Maddington have just gone the wrong way about it by waving it in everyone's face and taunting the authorities, just putting it out there.

Yes the maddo x coach has come down to the kennel as as his services was not required at maddington I wouldnt go as far as calling him assistant coach and yes he might be just what we are after when ut comes to helping recruit decent players

I went down to City Beach on Saturday to sit on the hill and see for myself why everyone gives Kelmscott a hard time on here. They came out of the blocks fast with some good football in the first term which was good to watch. What I saw early in the second quarter though should not happen on a footy field in todays football. Im not sure if Caz or s train saw it but it was not good for footy or your club. As West Coast slowly started to get back into the game early in the second they had a stoppage at half forward. There ruckman won the tap down to one of there mids and as he turned you can only say, he was king hit. I have no doubt that the police will be involved in this one and it is NOT a good look for footy or the club..

Yes it was seen by all, and no its not good for the club or waafl the player involved is more then remorseful for what has happened and it didnt happen exactly as pointed out in above post, was ment to be a stern open hand punch, if u like to the sternum but ended up making contact with the lower jaw, im not looking for excuses or anything along those lines this shouldn't happen in amature football, the player involved will pay the price in due time when tribunal hand down the verdict,

open hand? I take it the player came back on then?

not exactly a coward punch as it was described to me. Was under the impression it did some damage to the player.
