At the end of the day, the undeniable, undisputable fact is this:

The Timekeeper breached the WAAFL by-laws by not stopping the clock as instructed by the field umpire.

You make reference to the "the WAFC timekeeper/manager" since when did the WAFC have timekeeper managers at B grade games?

Also Umpires never came over and stopped the clock for the stretcher. Just the same way when Whitfords called for a stretcher (but then not used) it wasn't stopped. Umpires told Whitfords after the game that they never asked for the clock to be stopped so I am not sure what the Duck is on about. As I said earlier the umpires are WAFL umpires so raise their hand to call time off and time on all game and as most other in ammos would know this is not to stop the clock. The clock stops only when the Umpires look over and specifically call to the bench to stop time: this never happened.

In this case, WAFC stands for Whitford Amateur Football Club.

Stretcher
There is to be no “time-on” for a stretcher. However if the situation arises that the removal of the injured player or players from the ground is going to take longer than what we be the case in a “normal” stretcher incident then umpires are instructed to signal to the timekeeper to stop the clock. This may be the case if for example an ambulance is required and the player cannot be moved, if more than one player requires a stretcher and only one stretcher is on hand, etc. The signal from the umpire to the timekeeper will be two crossed arms raised above the head (similar to a blood rule) however verbal communication to the timekeeper is critical.

Not once did the umpire signal to the timekeeper to stop the clock as there was no reason to.

Can't believe this is still going on should have been able to be sorted in 5 minutes at end of game like this

Whitford crowd "umpy did you request time on?"

Umpire "no" whitfords crowd "sorry our bad" or

Umpire "yes" whitford crowd "hey you collegians timekeeper, put down that beer, did you add time on like umpy asked?"

Collegians timekeeper "no"

Umpire "out we go boys to finish the game".

Seems too easy, looks like the whitfords boys are having a sook and whinge.

Hahaha typical Whitfords at it again, been involved in this league for to many years and have heard way to many complaints from them. Just sounds like Whitfords should of had a time keeper standing with the Collegians one. At the end of the day its amateur football and your bagging out a Volunteer. Congratulations Shitfords in restoring my thoughts that you are one of the worst teams in league.

Cry me a river unholytugboat, Sounds like a few sour grapes due to the three L's you guys had on Saturday! the timekeeper wasn't drunk and you shouldn't throw out wild accusations just because your a little upset. Move on.

So Piddler, if the umpires discussed with officials after the match that they had in fact called time off & time on as they did previously in the match do you think there might be something more to it?

simple question.

wow more drama here on Saturday than a week at Summer bay........

winners are grinners, losers should not complain, If i'm right the game went for 100 minutes yes????? that's 4 x 25minute quarters?

No point blaming someone else for something that happened in the last 2 minutes of the game and saying this is why Whitford's lost, unless Whitford's people can get on here and say Whitford's didn't make any mistakes at all during the day, they played the perfect game of football and the mistake at the end of the game was the only reason they lost.......

There is a process Whitfords can follow, I think Big Blue raised it earlier today. I didn't see anywhere in that process where it said get on "OzFooty.net" and blame everyone for your defeat
