What’s everyone’s thoughts about Baldivis switching over from the Peel league? Interesting starting them in C1?! Is their new ground going to be ready this year?

First thing they would to have do is stop paying half their team.

Royals78 - that old chestnut without proof

You can always guarantee that when an amateur side is mentioned this topic comes up without foundation or proof.

BTW - the new oval will not be ready in 2021 - I have heard its 2022/23

Agreed Royals78 how does the competition allow a club knowingly paying its players to enter a competition.

I follow my A Grade Club and I know we have players that dont come for free.

They will have to jump through the same hoops that other clubs have too and you admitting that Your A Grade club pays players is interesting - why don't you name who you support then

Why when the whole competition does it, its a flawed system and the competition picks and chooses who they target.

Silent but deadly you are dilusional if you think clubs such as CBC, Nrth Freo, Scarb, North Beach dont do it.

It's amusing isn't Blunder?

We all know what goes on except the league.

Might have something to do with connections.
Either way, we can only hope credibility creeps back into the PFL?

We either need to look at 'amateur status' or hope the new WAFC board take a more active interest in Community football.

Either way, I won't hold my breath!

Until the WAFC publicly acknowledges that their past measure of success (and probably their only measure) is the number of players drafted to AFL/AFLW was (and remains) wrong, we are banging our head up against a brick wall in hoping for change.

The football community needs to be told by the WAFC that we all matter - not just the Eagles and Dockers, and to a more limited extent, the WAFL.

Payment of players is rife in the PFL - we all know that. Proving it is something else.
