League B/F awards ceremony.

If rumours true?
A bit disappointing on a 'live stream' choice for Biggest Community Football Recognition Night.

Sincerely hope at least deserving winners are invited to PFL room, rather than simply being watching results.

Hey Stinker, have u been watching the videos of the WAFC funding enquiry? According to the WAFL club CEOs they are now the true community clubs and the Sandover is now the biggest community recognition night..

No UTB,
Have not seen videos and quite frankly sounds like a bit of 'duck shovelling.

WAFL were not long ago proudly stating they were the Premier State League in Australia.
Now when it comes to handouts and a share of the ever decreasing community $$ they are a community league.

Could also be the WAFC trying to justify some $$ not trickling down to the 'long standing' community clubs.

Ammos, juniors & country will be the massive winners out of this.

I nearly chocked when one WAFL club CEO claimed they were the true heart and soul of community football.

UHT,
Quite frankly while WAFC is under microscope, so should some aspects of PFL.

I could share a 'story' or two about "vested interests" and conduct of Office Bearers.

Until we understand we are nothing more than CUSTODIANS of this game, we will not change

I will leave at that...however a time and place will come when I can elaborate.

It's a start at least. PFL is not perfect, but it's return on investment to the WAFC is nothing less than extraordinary compared to the WAFL.

Now it's being discussed publicly and being acknowledged by both the WAFC and the WAFL.

It’s been interesting listening to the WAFC funding enquiry...Martin’s discussion about the WAFL needing reposition themselves as a 2nd tier competition and the clubs connecting to their communities is vastly different to the CEOs now claiming to be community based grassroots clubs.

Are they a 2nd tier semi-professional competition that requires a significant level of funding or are they now grassroots clubs like juniors or Ammos that get little to no outside funding support?

Having an identity crisis and the majority say in WA football is a disaster. The WAFL needs to see a shrink.

Aussie rules is a game to be enjoyed by all, you spend a lot of time worrying about the Wafl tugboat, you seem to have a chip on your shoulder about something.
Enjoy your footy at all levels and get on with life

I do enjoy my football at all levels. I can assure you the chip on my shoulder regarding the amount of money wasted on the WAFL to the detriment of the rest of WA Football is shrinking.

Personally, I do not worry about the WAFL, Their standing in WA Football is very clear.

I guess you could class me in the same mould as 90 percent of the WaFl fans on here who think the AFL is the devil. Only difference is my argument is an easy one.
