I recall a game up at Bassendean , might have been 1980 where Gerard Neesham grabbed Maurice Rioli's nuts the Seagull ended up flat on his back not long after , you rarely saw Maurice get upset but he was very much so that day

Didn't say Bush didn't deserve it just find it interesting Big Laurie didn't try and lay out Harding or Darren Bennett.....more so Bennett considering he kicked 10 in the 2nd semi.....would of thought one of the Taylor's should of taken Bushell out to make it a half decent act.... similari height/weight at least.....Keene stooped to Bushell's dog like levels......Phil Scott was a far better player than Keene....and seems like a better individual as well.....

Freeze the whole playing group and the club were filthy with Bushell after he 'dealt' with our trainer over the fence, so it was first in first served the next time they played and big Loz was front of the queue. karma for assaulting a bloke 3 times his age who had a bung leg.

Freez it was a centre bounce down early in the first quarter. Bushell grabbed the pill and tried to run around Keene who threw an arm out to grab him. Given the height discrepancy it finished clocking Bushell high and it obviously affected him as he didn't play much of a part for the rest of the game. Was it deliberate high contact? maybe but it certainly wasn't a swinging round arm or anything with the sole intent of hurting Bushell.
