yep...he'd be right up there...I recall he had a go at Ian Dargie in the 88 GF...not a good move as Dargs planted two or three on Neesham's chin in the blink of an eye. Yep..agree on Bushell...I was at Shirley Strickland in AppleX in the mid 80's watching Sunday footy and Bushell and Wrensted were there. Bushell gave some older bloke a mouth full of lip and the old bloke punched him fair in the chest and shaped up to carry on with the job. Bushell shit himself and backed off very quickly.

I was umpiring a game at Mundijong one year when Steve was playing for Centrals. He went through one of the opposition with a bump you will never see in today’s game. It was fair, but the hardest hit I’ve ever seen.

Have to agree - Bushell was completely unhinged. Should of been sent to Vienna and put on display.
