Grassy
They where talking about WA One Nation today. Its a leftover from the 1990's party. And not run by Paulines Office. When your endorsed by Pauline you hand her a letter of resignation. If you step out of line she can hand it to the media at anytime.Thats the way it works everywhere bar WA.Thats why Rod Culloten tells her where to go.

So basically like any party, step out of line and yer gone. anyway if ya know this BEFORE ya sign up ( which i would assume anyway) then ya know the consequences.
How many people from the majors have jumped ship mid-term and became independants?
Makes me laff when people discredit One party like one nation( as an example) as if any other party is run on a lovely democratic basis. And NO i am not a spoksperson for one nation, i just love the hypocricy that is spwewed out. As mentioned the country is a stuff up now, which has zilch to do with one nation. One nation is the least of our real concerns

Not to many in Labour or the Greens that speak out.A few in the LNP,Tony Abbot,Brendon Grills,Senator Bernadi. Andrew Hastie.A couple of the WA Libs gave Barnett a big spray a few months back.Nalder and a few others.
Do agree with you that Trump has started something against the major sellout partys. Most of his polocys are to the right but some are to the left like protectionism and no TTP agreement.Pauline to far to the right on all polocys so far.No blue collar vote just pissed off voters.

I think "some"of the blue collar workers, will believe in the ëqual for all"message she sprouts, i think a lot of blue collar workers believe in this. The fact she wants some checks and balances for some groups that "seem"to get a free run, is appealing to many. As i say i aint no one party supporter or spokesperson, but who else be it labs or libs say anything near what she has said. Actually Dutton has suprisingly said a couple of stonger things recently. If trump does nothing else, he has made the rest of em sit up and be forced to listen, to what in MANY cases is the majority. Interestin to say the least

Unka2 to place an historical perspective: not all blue collar workers have supported the ALP.

The single underlying message with respect to One Nation is one of racism. Twenty years ago she said that Australia was being overrun by Asians; not it is we are being overrun by Muslims. It wasn't true then andit isn't true now.

It will be a sign of the desperation of Emperor Barnett if he chooses to get into bed with One Nation.

With respect to Trump he wouldn't know the truth if it hit him in the head. He and his supporters just made stories up with ABSOLUTELY no truth to the vast majority of those stories. He comments about bring jobs back to the USA was in DIRECT OPPOSITION to his companies producing products external to the USA. The facts are that a lot of the blue collar jobs were lost due to automation and the cost of labour. Neither of those D Trump will be able to do anything about. There will be a great deal of angst in those states that supported D Trump based on a LIE and will ensure that the Republicans lose the next US Presidential election.

How anyone can support Trump given his latest disgraaceful act of remaining on the patroll of his former reality show clearly and demosntrably shows what a buffoon he is and further emphasises his complete unsuitability to be US President.

What does she offer Western Australians in a State Election?

Remember, she is still a Conservative at heart, but to influence our Election, she s going to have to Highlight Weaknesses of a 2 Term State Government on her side of the political fence.

When push comes to shove,do people really think Liberal Voters will rush over to her Party?

Can be a state issue here as well Grassy, not so much here but elsewhere its MASSIVE

Big ears in the socialist republic of Victoria has just had to launch a HUGE tax payer funded LAW and Order Police expansion, due to the huge surge in VIOLENT crime directly related to massive STUFF up in letting huge numbers of SUNDANESE into the state and the associated CRIME GANGS.

Then in NSW that BEARS The brunt of the unnecessarily huge Immigration numbers, is facing collapse of infrastructure that cannot cope, un affordable housing, and more CRIME on the back of LEABONESE Crime Gangs, another huge stuff up by naïve pollies at the time.

Make no mistake what happens at a Federal level in that PORT FOLIO and come at a huge cost to the states.

Hanson will pick up VOTES here from both, the blue collar Labor voters like her because she TALKS their language and are not inspired by SNEAKERS.

Yeah,she speaks our language alright.

She does it so much, she sides with the Tories on Industrial Relations.

Any Blue Collar worker that doesn't know that,or doesn't care about that, seriously needs his or her head Read! :woohoo:

"our"

What would you know, you come from the Western Suburbs and attended one of the most elitist upper crust schools in the country.. Scotch College...working class my arse.

What's demonstrably obvious from your line of thinking is that you are completely out of touch with the white working class vote, and are emblematic of everything wrong with the elites that now run left wing politics in the inner city goats cheese circle.

Anyway Grassy it must be time for your weekly old school tie meeting down the rowing club with the chums...

Swan, can you please inform me how many people (in total) from ALL asian countries regarding immigration, also can you give me the non immigrants that are here on visas for Universities ( dont think they are counted in the stats). Very convenient of you to quote trump and truth in the one line but you ignore that doyen of hensety in one Hillary Clinton. Checked ya super of late S42, increased a bit sincce Trump got in, and they all said it would be a disaster.

Unka - Swan 42 is full of crap, Its already been pointed out overwhelmingly that Asian immigration now dominates Australia's intake just as Hanson predicted, and she hasnt ever stated that Muslims are over running , simply that their influence needs to be curtailed, for example the burqa legislation under consideration.

As for lies Clinton wins out there hands down and she had about double the money to tell them. All she offered was more of the same old boring do nothing capital and business destroying policies of the establishment.

Watched TRUMP at his thank you rally in Michigan live the other day and have to say he was quite motivating and positive as a speaker, has some good ideas and as you say the impact is already positive , and yes this morning I checked my super and its already hit a high.

I watched him announce the Darwin born Andrew Liveris as chairman of the US Manufacturing Board that will be tasked to get Americans back to work.

Mmm,full of your own assumptions aren't we?

You keep getting my old school tie wrong for starters. What's down the other end of Stirling Rd,past the Highway?

One of my History Teachers was a Full Bore Member of the Democrats!

I only go to 5 year reunions and felt Zero need to donate to my old school,if John Howard was tending to his own brand of ELITES with increased funding to Private Schools.

As for Average White Australians, gee I must be out of touch, trying to understand why people would be prepared to trade off hard Won Conditions of their Employment,Siding with the Tories AND Pauline on this particular Issue.

Go figure!

Now go and have a bex and a good lie down,Bazza.

PS - tried the link to Noel Pearson, but I lost my subscript after News Corp sold the Sunday Times to the cleaners!

What was the gist?

Hey grass man, what did shorten do to all the hard working members of the unions to get money from the development companies to help his campaign??.... oh hold em her reorganised the deals so the members lost conditions and $$$$. That werent a tory initative.
