Mennie scores more runs than Burns & Ferguson Mikeh.... actually takes more wickets(1 more) than both and he gets dropped to 12th man even though he would be playing on his home turf?.....you are a hard task master mate....LOL

Sam Whiteman with a long overdue century at the WACA might put him back in the frame for the keepers role, not necessarily in this test but long term.

Looks like Jonathon Wells will get the nod for an openers spot next week......

Surely Qld Matt Renshaw must be looked at.....Bancroft stuffed up his chances......Handscombe a cert for Voges....if Head or Patterson score big tomorrow one will surely take Fergusons spot.....Whiteman for Nevill?

Totally agree mate, just thought the pink ball test wouldn't be the ideal place for Swepson or any leggie TBH....but hey I am all for some right field selections....my ones would be the two QLD boys in Heazlett and Renshaw....the selectors really need to get creative with their thinking and yep give them assurity of at least the next 8 - 10 tests to do their thing.

Good to see the Australian selectors treating the West Australian and Tasmanian players with their usual contempt and disdain.
