But you're right that we need stricter rules. That is not to say I criticize Mike or George because they gave us the freedom to be more than school children. I think we let them down somewhat. I'm a big boy that can give as much as I take, but I backed of the posts because I got sick of reading some of the crap posts... mainly from one section.....and that's in black and white . BTW...I don't absolve myself from blame. I had to apologise a couple of times.

Why bother coming to the Swans thread then?? You will find I never bothered going to other clubs threads that often and if I wanted to be a bit more one eyed I would stay on our thread and then it just got high jacked by trolling.

yep....i'll miss the Perth boys, EF boys, SF boys...Christ almost everyone even the jerkers who I've hated since 1995...but there's one mob I won't miss....the head mistress and all his bogan miscreants.

To George and Mike I say this has been the best footy forum for all footy supporters but especially for WAFL supporters. You have done an amazing job in setting up this site and keeping it going this long. It is a pleasant, easy to use forum which if it had been used properly as it was designed for it would probably last hereafter for ever and a day.
Some just didn't value it enough nor deserve it. Perhaps it's failing is that it has been free.

I notice some new sponsors on this site. Perhaps not enough to save the site but at this late stage at least some measure of hope.

Times allmost up but an idea.Most of the users of OzFooty..Net would pay an anual fee to use this site,$30 a year about $0.60 per week.Then they could pay someone to run the site for them.

Good idea but I wonder how many posters would put their money where their mouths are and it may cause problems where a poster is suspended or expelled... would have to be a condition that in those circumstances the fee is forfeited.
