for once you and I are in agreement BH..whilst I cherish every flag Subi has won or will go onto win, it would be good for the comp to have a GF with over 30k in attendance. hopefully that will happen some time soon.

nothing wrong about having passion mate....but I don't think....constant comments about most supporters, best facilities, sells most merchandise, best juniors etc in the WAFL constitutes passion mate...... just good ole honest bragging TBH.....which ultimately is open fodder for some good ole honest bagging!!

If you want to see a 50k plus WAFL GF go and download the 79 GF mate.....as for Perth and SD ever playing in a GF together...you will be hard of hearing and sight by then, thus will miss everything most likely......so what's the point TBH

Believe it or not BC I would be far more surprised if me ol mate Freeze agreed with one of my posts before even your good self ...it must be nearly 15 years and counting now in online banter and still donuts, tho I like to think I have been playing my part in keeping him from going completely insane over there in the bum sniffing fanatical shaky isles, as always the team player ...luckily I haven't been holding my breath in waiting for a similar view!!

These are exactly my sentiments Anchorman. Thank you for posting this. I was trying to make this point in the Swans thread last week but was howled down by people who think its OK to engage in personal abuse, swearing and general insulting comments under the guise of "banter". Would be a nightmare for any administrator. Sure this site could have been moderated more closely but we are all adults (I assume) and I think we all share some responsibility for this site closing down if that happens. There is a way of making fun of peoples teams and taking the mickey without descending into the sort of garbage that has been written here particularly since the start of this WAFL season.

The problem is that we have a lot of ammo against Swan Districts, I haven't posted anything that isn't publicly available online via news stories. When we use this ammo against them Swans supporters rightfully like to fire back, unfortunately they get personal and attack people's profession, home town, intelligence etc.

plus they revert to foul and insulting language...I wouldn't use the language that certain individuals posted on here last week in general conversation and don't think they should on a public site....and mike...you weren't howled down by people thinking it's ok to engage in personal abuse and swearing...exactly the opposite...however you felt a need to make excuses for it by insinuating outer and I were trolling and deserved it in some way because he made an obviously tongue in cheek comment about SD dropping to amateurs and I added to the banter. if you SD supporters are so sensitive to a bit of chit stirring then maybe you should have a long hard think about posting on a public site. Subi supporters cop it all the time especially from you lot when all we see is $ubi, $alaryaco, $cumiaco and so forth...but who cares? It's all a bit of fun...no offence meant and none taken.

I want to make clear that I am not condoning some of the Swans supporters who have got to this level of behaviour but the personal abuse is not all one way if you would like to look back on some of the threads.

Totally agree with you, I'm not going to pretend that I'm not one of the worst offenders. I don't have a problem with insults directed at my club but personal insults are just pathetic

Sorry BC, I did not make excuses for anyones behaviour. I abhor swearing and personal insults. I don't give a rats if someone makes fun of Swans and in fact I have had poked a bit of fun in the latest thread I started about this weeks game. The point I was merely making the other day was that you and OSG continually niggle on the Swans thread and have been doing so for as long as I can remember, knowing exactly what response you are going to get from SOME supporters and then when you get the predictable response you get all offended as if it was some sort of surprise. I know that some Swans supporters troll on the Subiaco web site as well and I am just as critical of this. Banter should be good humoured as far as I am concerned and none of this is adding anything to the quality of the site

Looking back at some of the old posts I'm amazed Ozfooty hasn't been taken down sooner. I remember Subiaco's coach being accused of drug use, numerous accusations of Subiaco breaking the salary cap and under the table payments, none of these are based on any kind of fact or evidence and are clearly slanderous. My comments about Swans tax and salary cap problems are proven and public knowledge.
