Who ever decided to built a suburb in the middle of fark all should be the one feeling guilty, talk about stupidity of urban sprawl.

Bazza you seem to have difficulty in conceding Barnett PROMISED TWICE to build a rail line to Ellenbrook. No-one had a gun to his head to force him to make the promise. Emperor Barnett chose to do it of his own accord. Stop trying to defend the indefensible when it comes to Emperor Barnett's litany of LIES, BROKEN PROMISES and ECONOMIC and BUDGETARY INCOMPETENCE.

Oh really?? , that must be why all the talk is now infill and to stop the sprawl. Just not sustainable and new suburbs in the middle of nowhere are yesterdays thinking.

Ive got no problem admitting he promised and failed to deliver on that one, big deal he has delivered on many others that labor only ever talked about. to me and as supported by the PTA it would of been money badly spent and was quite happy to see it cancelled, if people want to live in the sticks then put up with the crap that goes with it like lack of services, thats the down side of buying a cheap block...suck it up sunshine, I look forward to using the the new airport link.

Can you imagine the more crap he would be copping if he had built this line, 2 billion more in debt.
He promised though and didn't deliver.
But we will fine point every promise the ALP make at the next election and if they get in they won't tick off half of them either just as no government does.
But the Ellenbrook rail will start day one of their government that's a certainty.

Thats it mate, even more crap when hardly anyone would be using it, PTA modelling has found that it would be at least 10 years before a rail line would be justified, but what the heck would they know, they only run railways!

Line up Libs track record v ALP track record since 79 then.
Not sure what your point is?

Why pick Just Rail, lets line them up on everything.
Actually no point in that as I don't think we will agree on anything.

if you line up Coaltion Record since 1960s to now compared to ALP from Brand/Court to Now, they leave the ALP for complete dead in terms of State Develpment and Progress, Iron Ore, Natural Resource, North West Shelf, Pilabara, Kwinana Industrial Strip, Agriculture, Hospitals,Roads, and more - ALP voters hang their hats on couple of railway lines and thats about it.piss poor record. Blokes like Brand and Court built the state from the boots up.

My post clearly states over the journey, which is beyond doubt, of recent years I cannot think of to many stand out deliveries of the ALP over the COALITION.

Weakness, Rocky OConnor was pretty hopeless, plenty of stuff ups along the way with all sides, but its all about the bigger picture and the state big picture wise has done well since WW II under the coalition.
