I take it you did and used the line a lot!

I lived in Freo pretty much all my life and used the line up to the closure, bugger all people were using it , patronage had collapsed , anyway dont forget the line was replaced by the new and first ever LINK BUS high frequentcy service Fremantle to Perth, which I also used, its worth noting that the plan was to install a high frequentcy Bus Lane on the land, possibly electric along the lines of the old trolley buses.

In fact I reckon electric trolley buses on dedicated lanes ( you can get 4 carriage systems) are thh way to go, they would be a good solution for the morley to ellenbrook route, I have seen them operating in Europe and are very good service. Bogota in Columbia have an excellent system, with purpose built stations.

Patronage is no excuse whatsoever!! Railways operate at a loss all over the world, It will always do so, its about providing infrastructure that is needed, the Ellenbrook line should have been built long before thinking about building luxury infrastructure like Lizzies quay which will not benefit the common man!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Yes the health minister deliberately planted the Hep C in the hospital.
Seriously is this the mentality we have to look forward to if the ALP get in power?

The last thing everyone wanted to hear was this morning's news.

But it has happened and I dread what's around the corner next.

No one wants to hear that news Grassy but it's hardly the health ministers fault, these things can happen at any hospital, any day, anywhere in the world.
I accept the ALP will jump on it because that is what an opposition does, it their job to do that.
It is just nit picking one after an other that we can expect for the next 12 months.
Hopefully the public can see through it and understand the answer certainly is not the ALP, never has been the answer and never will be. Unfortunately the public are not that smart.

I really try to not get involved with political discussions as everyone has an opinion that will not change no matter what, but the above comment really sums up the "born to rule" mentality that liberal people believe. It smacks of self righteous tripe.

So what your saying GWS is that we shouldn't vote at all, but leave the liberal's in all the time...

Read today's paper yet?

If he had of been sacked 10 weeks ago today still would of happened. It is simply an unfortunate accident that no government or minister could stop.
