I think your average middle class wage earner including public servants, nurses, teachers, office workers, cashed up bogans, tradies, miners etc will all cop it in the neck between now and then to help pay for the extravagant schemes such as NDIS, Gonski, increases in defence spending, asylum seekers this government has announced which so far are all unfunded.

Gillard is big on ideas and rhetoric but not so great on how we're going to pay for it all given we're already $200 billion in debt.

September should be left to Finals footy only, not elections......but in saying that would be nice to see that liar removed...permanently!

mate...Abbott is not in government so why would he announce coalition policies yeasr out from the next election? I think you'll see a whole raft of policies being released by the Libs as the election gets closer...whether they're any good or not remains to be seen but what can be almost guaranteed based on previous Lib govts is that the coalition will have us back in surplus and paying back our national debt well before Labor.

Exactly mate! The early call is going to show him and his mates up, and lets see them try and say no, no. no now all the time! Funny how whining Pyne was saying he would try to increase question time by an extra half hour if the libs got in..well last year they never asked any Q`s on policy all they did was try to block preceedings with votes of no confidence etc etc. They never asked 1 legit Q..The Aust people might just get tired of his tactics
