Bassendean Oval on a Saturday avo during winter is hard to go past as the absolute favourite but getting in to the spirit of BC's thread my top 10 below

Queenstown NZ (simply stunning)

Amsterdam (for the vibe)

Cable Beach & Broome itself (great place to sneak in a season playing barefoot footy and fishing every other day)

Macon France (old skool wine country and best food I've ever been served, thankyou Mama Lapalus)

Buenos Aires, Argentina (the women, the BBQ)

London UK (after the first 6 months living there it grows on you....especially if ur in to nightclubbing & breakbeat)

Melbourne (once again for the vibe and the footy)

Canary Islands (like NZ great if you like to seek adrenalin rushes and have the energy to pursue them eg mountain biking down volcano faces, close to death ridiculously quick skateboarding down steep winding mountain roads for kilometres on end that I still have nightmares about whilst 'ignorant' english tourists constantly drive up the wrong side of the road :-) , peaceful uncrowded surfing & windsurfing ,kitesurfing never again they don't call Fuerteventura meaning strong winds for nothing, snorkelling, hot air ballooning, beautiful hippie Italiana female lifeguards who can't swim (for real) now add in cheap cheap cheap booze and its game on)

Simpson Desert WA and Kimberley region in general (because we survived, something about the place reminds you your alive, for now!)

Arnhem in Holland (bridge too far country where Pop landed with the ill fated Pegasus Division but luckily for both of us escaped but list this place for the people themselves. Was honoured to meet the daughter of the lady known as the Angel of Arnhem who tended Pop's wounds from his glider crash which is to this point the most humbling experience of my life)

Wow, much more difficult exercise than expected. Apologies to Thailand & Germany. Enjoyed but miss my top ten.

5 places on the radar/bucket list

Ambuiba Communidade in the Vale de Cachorro, Amazon Jungle on the Rio Negro (black River) Brasil oct - nov this year finally then return in 2016 to surf the Poraroca
Alaska
Bolivia
Tasmania
Prague - I've heard that beer tastes better here than anywhere else on the planet
