agree DW...the AFL is a side show at the minute. I for one believe true footy lives with semi-professionals who play the game because they love it i.e the WAFL and not some over-engineered fascade who treat it as a business with a win at all costs attidude no matter what it does to the game.

YOLO I am not a great fan of Caroline Wilsons journalism, but biggest oxygen thief in the world???? Honestly? I can think of quite a number people in our gaols and others threatening world peace who may be higher up in that category.

I wonder if the vitriol that is directed at Caro would be as intense if she was a male journalist because I don't see that she is doing much different to the Craig Hutchinsons and the Damien Barretts who I also don't like much either.

Personally, I don't mind her. She's pretty forthright and I suspect she has a set of what no other women have. Like her or hate her, she's usually on the money.
As for Hird, why doesn't he just let it go. He has to be the most despised sports personality in Aussie - his own club "persuaded" him not to attend their F&B night. As for his replacement if needed (Bomber), I quite liked him, but listening to different people on 91.3, he seems to have a slimy side to him and possibly have a few questions to answer from his Cats days. What is it with that club - they're a controversy magnet.
