She was totally useless, that rubbish she was coming out with during the border controls was embarrassing.

With the real chance of them losing more seats the question is who would really want to lead them.

Nalder is my bet. But I reckon is unlikely to want to take it on.

Nalder is unelectable even in good times for the Libs, charisma free zone imho. No one will make a dent in Lord Mcgowans popularity, only he can damage his brand and I dont see that happening unless he goes too far with the border controls which will see a lot more pressure coming on the closer we get to Christmas and the need for people to connect with family.

Zak Kirkup looks like the raging favourite, seems a controversial chap not afraid to stand his ground and I think would provide a tough opponent for Marky Mark who has lost his prized asset, his treasurer Ben Wyatt after the next election.

From memory Kirkup delayed the bill to stop big Clive from suing the state and also another matter or maybe the same one not sure. Can anyone recall? Kirkup was the only one opposing something.

Lol Ben Wyatt did what previous Premiers and treasurers tried but failed to do and get WA a much fairer share of our GST back in our coffers and you call him arrogant. Maybe you are rather ignorant.

The GST was a quite lengthy process of badgering and cajoling that the Kaiser started and Sneakers and Ben finished. One of the things that someone started and the next fella finished.

Wyatt and Sneakers have done what the Kaiser and his treasurers never could do and that is budget on a realistic price for Iron ore and other minerals so that the royalties actually exceeded the amount budgeted for - Kaiser $120 per / actual $70 - Wyatt $80 per actual $100. Yes there are influences involved but knowingly living beyond your means to the extent the Kaiser et al did was really criminal.

Yes others did fight and whinge about it but probably in an arrogant way. What Ben did was reverse the argument to the other states and the federal government. He said if it's ok for WA to receive top up payments then it should be ok for WA to receive a fair share of the GST and other states to receive top up payments if they are deemed to be at a disadvantage.

And just recently in response to Gladys Berejiklians complaint that WA have got it too good Ben quickly put her back in her box saying if only WA got 92 cents back in the dollar like NSW then yes maybe we have it too good.

yeah its yet another thing those two capitalized on that someone else actually put the yards in and for years, while sneakers wanted the stadium, EQ, the museum, the airport rail link cancelled once they were done he was running around cutting ribbons.

A bit like closing the border, the WA AMA were pleading for him to do it, he told them to bugger off and that it would be unconstitutional, refused to do it, meanwhile NT Tassie closed theres first, then sneakers finally decides to do it, then once he knew it was a vote winner made it his calling card - what a joke.

You couldn't be more wrong about Ben Wyatt if you tried. Would probably win by an even greater margin if he was Premier. You mistake personality and a smile for arrogance. But he's a Perth supporter and his electorate is in the Perth FC vacinity so I get the totally irrational point where you are coming from. Lol
